Director Lee Byung Hun has stepped down from the upcoming K-drama All the Love You Wish For.

On January 27, media outlets reported that director Lee Byung Hun will no longer work with writer Kim Eun Sook in the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama All the Love You Wish For. According to reports, the director chose to leave the K-drama for personal reasons. However, there's no confirmation of the real reason and the exact date the director departed from the K-drama. 

According to reports, other professional staff in different fields will work together to fill the remaining workload. 

Director Lee Byung Hun is known for creating the works Dream, Be Melodramatic, Extreme Job, and more. The last K-drama Lee Byung Hun directed was the Netflix original series Chicken Nugget starring Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong, Kim You Jung, and Kim Nam Hee. 

All The Love You Wish For is one of the much-anticipated K-dramas this year. This is not only because of the reunion of Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy but also because of the collaboration between hitmakers director Lee Byun Hun and writer Kim Eun Sook. 

Despite the departure of the director, Netflix hasn't announced any delays or postponements in the premiere of All The Love You Wish For. 

All The Love You Wish For will tell the romance story of a genie who is full of emotions. He will encounter a woman who lacks emotions. The genie will grant the woman with 3 wishes who made him escape from his lamp.

Kim Woo Bin, Bae Suzy, Ahn Eun Jin, Steve Noh, Ko Kyu Pil, Lee Joo Young, and more will work together for the upcoming K-drama. 

All The Love You Wish For will be included in Netflix's original K-dramas for 2025. The series will have a total of 12 episodes.
