Actor Yoo Hae Jin (The King’s Warden, Chief Detective 1958Exhuma, The Night Owl, Confidential Assignment, A Taxi Driver, Veteran) has donated 100 million won for the treatment of cancer patients.

On May 13, Asan Medical Center announced, "Yoo Hae Jin donated 100 million won to help fund treatment for patients battling cancer."

The donation will be used to develop advanced treatment systems for cancer patients and to improve the healthcare environment at Asan Medical Center.

Regarding the donation, Yoo Hae Jin shared, "I decided to make this donation in the hope that patients will be able to get through their difficult battles with the illness and return to their ordinary daily lives," adding, "I hope they can receive treatment comfortably and safely in a better environment."

This is not the first time Yoo Hae Jin has made such a generous donation. In 2022, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he donated 50 million won to Asan Medical Center to support healthcare staff and pediatric patient treatment. He later donated another 50 million won in 2023. Including the latest donation, Yoo Hae Jin has donated a total of 200 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center.

Meanwhile, Yoo Hae Jin won the Grand Prize in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in the hit film The King’s Warden, also starring Park Ji Hoon.
