The production team of The Second Signal has addressed recent reports about the drama's release schedule.
On June 30, MyDaily reported that the tvN drama The Second Signal has been confirmed for a Monday-Tuesday time slot beginning November 30. The report also stated that the drama will consist of eight episodes, air through December 22, and Jo Jin Woong's scenes will not be edited.
Responding to the report, tvN stated, "Nothing has been finalized."
The Second Signal is the long-awaited sequel to the 2016 hit drama Signal. The K-drama had been planned to be released as a commemorative project for tvN's 20th anniversary, but was postponed indefinitely after lead actor Jo Jin Woong announced his retirement amid controversy over misconduct during his youth.
