Tian Xi Wei stuns in dual roles in the 'Where the Mask Ends' trailer

YOUKU has unveiled a teaser for Where the Mask Ends.

Where the Mask Ends tells the story of Wei Rao and Ah Chou (dual roles played by Pursuit of Jade actress Tian Xi Wei). 

Ah Chou was originally a lowly girl who collected night soil and was bullied by everyone. Because she has a face strikingly similar to Wei Rao, the daughter of the noble household, she unexpectedly becomes the bride of Lu Zhuo, heir of a duke's household. Ambitious and determined, Ah Chou tries to use this chance to rise in status. However, her newlywed husband, who was on the brink of death, suddenly wakes up, which results in a series of disasters.

The trailer offers a glimpse of the two women in a fierce fight, determined to take what each believes belongs to them. 

It begins with a narration: "Why are some people with a silver spoon, while we can't even put food on the table?" and "Some people are vile and still live in luxury. Others do every evil thing and still end up on top!", as it shows scenes of Tian Xi Wei in the roles of a noble lady and a lowly girl going from desperate situation to take her place.

The release date for Where the Mask Ends has yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
