Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha share insights on their ongoing drama Typhoon Family.

Typhoon Family follows Kang Tae Poong (Lee Jun Ho), a novice CEO of a trading company with almost no employees, no money, and nothing to sell, navigating the 1997 IMF crisis.
On October 30, a commentary from Typhoon Family's leads Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha was posted on tvN DRAMA's YouTube channel, where they shared insights into numerous scenes from episodes 5 and 6 of the series.

Lee talked about the scene where he portrayed Kang Tae Poong deciding to repay the private loan debt on behalf of Shoe Park Company's president, Park Yun Cheol (Jin Seon Kyu), and the chilling moment when loan shark Ryu Hui Gyu (Lee Jae Kyoon) takes Kang Tae Poong's eyes as collateral.
When asked, "Was there any particular detail in Tae Poong's acting when he pretended not to be scared?" "When a situation becomes that terrifying and when anger builds up, there are moments when you actually become calm. And there are also moments when you can't avoid eye contact. You know how, when we face something frightening on the street, our whole body stiffens? That's what I imagined for this scene."
"So I didn't avoid eye contact. I kept looking straight ahead. But I thought about the subtle trembling of facial muscles or a quiver in the voice that comes from tension. I shot the scene with that in mind. Without that fear, the dynamics between my character and Hee Gyu, or even Hyun Joon (Moo Jin Sung), wouldn't have felt as strong."
The actor also talked about the scene in episode 6 where he films a promotional test video to sell safety shoes. The scene, which showed him leaping into the air and looked almost like a music video, created quite a buzz on Korean platforms after the episode aired. It is reported that Lee shot the entire scene without a stunt double.
He recalled, "The director was really worried about that part. But I thought, 'If I don't do it myself, it's going to take way too long.' So I said, 'I'll just do everything myself!' — and I did."
Kim Min Ha did not hold back her praise for her co-star: "He uses his body really well. Of course, he's an amazing dancer, but he's so good at using his body when acting too. For example, when he pretends to fall, and this probably showed up quite a lot, I thought it was all real and ended up screaming loudly."
Among the comments, one read, "Since he's a former beast idol, of course he's great at flying kicks." In response, Lee Jun Ho said, "I just actually did it. People ask if I used a stunt double, but I hardly did. I'd say I did about 97% [of the stunts] myself. It's hard to explain how we filmed it. I just ran and kicked."
