The Old Woman with the Knife has unveiled new teasers.
The Old Woman with the Knife follows Hornclaw (Lee Hye Young), a legendary assassin in her sixties, who has worked in an organization that eliminates human trash for over 40 years, and the young assassin Bullfight (Kim Sung Cheol), who has sought her all his life.
The K-movie's production team has released five posters that encapsulate each character's narrative.
In the first poster, Hornclaw, with a scarred face, exudes the aura of a legendary assassin who instills both fear and awe in all other assassins, as she says, "I exterminate rotten humans."
The mysterious assassin Bullfight (Kim Sung Cheol) reveals his complex emotions, "You'll never be able to protect them — because I'm going to kill them."
Next, the veterinarian Dr. Kang (Yeon Woo Jin), who saves Hornclaw, says, "Even so, I have no regrets," revealing his conviction and compassion as he becomes entangled in danger after uncovering her secret.
The expression of Ryu (Kim Mu Yeol), paired with the text, "Let's not make anything we have to protect anymore," heightens the tension and sparks curiosity about his fate, as a seasoned assassin who raised Hornclaw and the founder of Shinsung Pest Control.
Finally, the young Hornclaw's (Shin Shi Ah) gaze brims with a mix of anger and sorrow. Combined with the text, "I'll be where I want to be," it amplifies anticipation for the role she will play in the story.
The teaser draws attention by showcasing not only the backstories of each character but also the intricate web of their relationships. Opening with the line, "Don't forget — our work is sacred. We exterminate scum of the earth," the video highlights the legendary assassin Hornclaw's firm conviction in her mission.
Meanwhile, Bullfight lingers around Hornclaw, provoking her through brutal and violent methods, stirring curiosity as a figure destined to upend her life. As Dr. Kang enters the picture, the conflict between Hornclaw and Bullfight reaches its peak. His reminding her that no one is worthless mirrors the past moment when Ryu saved Hornclaw.
