Zhang Ling He and Tian Xi Wei's 'Pursuit of Jade' announces premiere date

The highly anticipated Chinese historical drama Pursuit of Jade, starring Zhang Ling He, Tian Xi Wei, Snow Kong, and Deng Kai, has announced March 6 premiere.

Pursuit of Jade tells the story of butcher's daughter Fan Chang Yu and Xie Zheng, a fallen noble, who meet by destiny in the midst of a snowstorm. 

Chang Yu has lost both parents and strives to support her family, while Zheng hides his identity to avenge a blood feud from seventeen years ago. 

With each harboring their own motives, the two concoct a marriage of convenience. Though they initially joined hands to use one another for their own purposes, their alliance gradually blossoms into genuine emotions. But that true love brings with it bloody warfare, and the husband and wife are forced to part.

Fan Chang Yu takes her butcher's knife and heads to the battlefield, searching for her family, her husband, and justice. Xie Zheng regains his status as a formidable noble, protecting the country, the one he loves, and the truth. The two reunite on the battlefield, fighting side by side, unafraid of death; uncover the truth, undaunted by authority; and return home, remaining true to their original resolve.

Zhang Ling He and Tian Xi Wei shine as the leads, Xie Zheng and Fan Chang Yu, respectively.
