I finally managed to read through and catch up with the posts here during my absence. I can see that Khemjira is getting a lot of attention and love. I look forward to binge watching it.
The Wicked Game is also getting some love. Unfortunately I have yet to move past episode 1 because of how busy I have been. This weekend and Monday are a holiday here in Jamaica, so while I do still have things to do I hope to still get to enjoy the break, so I have some BLs to watch.
I really do miss being here regularly 🥹

Nice to see you back! I too have had to pull back a fair amount myself. And yes Khemjira is killing it! It's phenomenal and blows me away every episode.

RE: That Summer - I understand. The series doesn't seem like it's going to be breaking the internet by any means, but it's got a special charm to it. I'm finding the performances of Win & Satang together are what's mainly fueling my sentiments. The story clearly isn't groundbreaking or trying to be anything especially unique, but it doesn't need to be. It doesn't need to be a Khemjira. It's a simple comfort series where they get to be the focus and they are killing it. I'm glad they got this chance to be the mls to showcase themselves, and I'm loving it. Their chemistry is fantastic!

I just discovered The Cursed Love that started on the 8th, and that's in my currently watching list now. Started watching the first 2 ep that have aired so far last night and I like it so far. Idk what to expect from this series as I am not familiar with anyone in this series or who produced it. There seems to be a lot of mixed-race Thai actors in it by design. It does come off a little bit vapid as that makes it seem like there is an emphasis on an aesthetic focus because of the casting. Idk what to make of the story and writing so far. The story concept is a nice reincarnation story where they wanted to be a bit more creative with a fantasy component, which I really appreciate. There's been a couple instances that I'm like wtf is happening, why did they write this that way lol, but nothing major at all to where I'd drop it. The soundtrack sounds fantastic so far. The overall production quality is stellar.
I have been watching this and really liking it. I knew nothing before I started it either but I like the combo of supernatural elements with past lives plus current conflicts. I don’t mind if the focus is on everyone being beautiful. 😉 I’m enjoying the eye candy. Plus the scenery is gorgeous as well.

The emphasis on eye candy wasn't a complaint or anything, although I can see that being received that way. Just an observation of how that seems a bit heavy-handed in this one, and when it is, I get a little concerned, and that is a flag for me that 'sometimes' indicates a crappy story and writing. It's kinda like going to a wedding, and the cake is stunningly decorated on the outside, but when you go to eat the actual cake, it tastes terrible. You want both to be yummy lol.

i've just started khemjira recently and i've been really liking it. i finished ep 8 last night which had an nc scene that i enjoyed more than i thought i would. might be the most romantic handjob i've seen so far loll
