Happy Ending KDramas/Movies - Rated

Only happy ending dramas  - in order to remember what I have watched and what I enjoyed. Many of the dramas do NOT end with a Wedding, but if there is romance, the ML(s) and FL(s) end up together - with the prospect of a happy and possibly long term-solid relationship. If there is no romance, the main lead(s) survive, even after the loss of a dear friend/relative.

Watched on Netflix, Amazon Prime or Viki in the USA.

  • Weak Hero Class 2

    201. Weak Hero Class 2

    Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    10

    Netflix. Outstanding. I'd watch a 3rd season.

  • Serendipity's Embrace

    202. Serendipity's Embrace

    Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes

    8.5

On Viki. It ended somewhat abruptly; I was expecting more development of some of the characters. It felt like it could have had a second season, but it is not that open-ended.

  • Study Group

    203. Study Group

    Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    10

On Viki. Great drama, with outstanding acting and nonstop action. Episodes are about 45 minutes long, and there are only 10 of them. It went fast. I loved the camaraderie, the connection of the characters, and their growth. A message I would share with teens or kids that study and work hard and expect quick results: "Just because it's taking time, it doesn't mean it is is not happening" and "Be patient everything comes to you  in the right moment." - this second quote is from Goutam buddha.

  • Witch's Love

    204. Witch's Love

    On Viki. Cute romance.

  • The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call

    205. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call

    Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

Netflix. Great, high-quality medical and action. I look forward to a 2nd season.

  • Beyond the Bar

    206. Beyond the Bar

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

On Netflix. Heartwarming legal drama. I really enjoyed each and every episode of this drama, it had touching moments, some romance, and deep conversations and reflections regarding perspectives on love. It was a bit sad that they didn't give more on the ML and FL love relationship due to some social stigmas on the age gap, but the ending is open, and I like to think they could be roommates or partners for Hash's benefit. I would like to watch this drama again. The second leads have a beautiful relationship; I liked their chemistry.

  • Brave Citizen

    207. Brave Citizen

    Korean Movie - 2023

    9.5

On Viki. Great movie. Temp teacher and bullying. Action and humor.

  • Ms. Incognito

    208. Ms. Incognito

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    9.5

On Viki. Extremely well done, with many twists and turns as well as many sweet moments. Great acting from all characters. I will re-watch it.

  • Double Patty

    209. Double Patty

    Korean Movie - 2021

    8.5

On Amazon Prime. It was a sweet movie.

  • Bon Appetit, Your Majesty

    210. Bon Appetit, Your Majesty

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    7.5

Netflix. I love the actors in it, they did a great job, however: this is a very very slow drama. It started great, and had a promising premise but I don't know how it went south. I won't re-watch this show.

  • Bring It On, Ghost

    211. Bring It On, Ghost

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

  • D-Day

    212. D-Day

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

    10

On Netflix. Outstanding cast acting and a true evil antagonist that is extremely dislikeable. The protagonists have sweet chemistry, and there are some funny moments. It has a happy ending for the leads, with a few bittersweet situations that will bring you to tears.

  • Twinkling Watermelon

    213. Twinkling Watermelon

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    9.5

On Viki. It is a modern, "cooler", and more sentimental S.K. version of Back to the Future. I really enjoyed it. It is a truly sweet drama, with more emotional moments than just funny ones, and great music.

  • Would You Marry Me?

    214. Would You Marry Me?

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    10

On Hulu. FL is cheated on by her toxic fiancee and learns that relationships are about both people being supportive of each other. The ML is a green flag: protective and caring. The second ML-FL are also very sweet, and one can relate to them easily.

  • Call It Love

    215. Call It Love

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    9.0

On Hulu. It is not a comedy but a serious take on the emotional healing process. It is a very slow drama, with slower dialogues and long pauses in conversations. Even though I really like it, the acting is superb, and the characters grow throughout time, it was almost painful to see such slow progress. You can "see" the characters reflect on their emotions, and instead of constantly being overly dramatic, they seem to realize the consequences of what (actions) led them there. The mom of the male lead was very frustrating because she was so evil. I finished the series, and I am glad I watched it.

  • Study Group Season 2

    216. Study Group Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2026

On Viki. I would not mind a season 3, it was so good!

  • The Atypical Family

    217. The Atypical Family

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    9.5

On Netflix. I loved this series. The leads seemed to connect well, and the acting was awesome. It is a great series that I'd like to rewatch. I wish they would come up with a 2nd season.

  • Doctor John

    218. Doctor John

    Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes

    10

On Viki, and Netflix. Outstanding drama about delicate topics such as euthanasia, and the show brings to light some rare medical conditions. The reflections of the male lead are insightful; the female lead  overcomes trauma, and provides another perspective to trauma and support to those who are sick.
It is not a romance drama, but there is a hint of it, and everything develops wonderfully.

  • The Witch

    219. The Witch

    Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

  • Beautiful Gong Shim

    220. Beautiful Gong Shim

    Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

    9.0
  • Sweet Home Season 2

    221. Sweet Home Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    10

I truly enjoyed this series/drama. I would like to see a 3rd season with a more positive note.

  • Genie, Make a Wish

    222. Genie, Make a Wish

    Korean Drama - 2025, 13 episodes

On Netflix. It is a comedy, with some action, interesting - out of the ordinary characters. Half-way through the series I am still not getting  into it since it is not a genre I am drawn to; personally, it could be a bit more fast-paced, and it seems to have quite a bit going on (story-threads). You should give it a try since this is not a genre I usually enjoy.

  • The Great Doctor

    223. The Great Doctor

    Korean Drama - 2012, 24 episodes

Currently on Netflix. Period Kdrama, time travel, romance, and action. This is an older drama (2012) that portrays societal and gender views/behavior from back in a long-ago dynasty—the period and modern early 2010s. I really like the modern actress, but it is not as enthralling as I thought it may be. I need to see if the image settings of my tv make it look less like a telenovela.

  • Officer Black Belt

    224. Officer Black Belt

    Korean Movie - 2024

    9.5

Action-packed movie. There is friendship and good work boss-worker rapport. It's a quick watch with some violence (kid abuse/assault trigger) and lots of comraderie.

  • Gyeongseong Creature

    225. Gyeongseong Creature

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    10

This is a masterpiece. First season focuses on 1940s Korea occupied by the Japanese. The military is doing inhumane experiments on Gyeongseong (old name of Seoul) citizens in order to develop a weapon for the army. The main character is a successful and popular owner of a pawnshop who finds himself involved in a task of finding a mistress of a Japanese head of police. He recruits the help of 2 foreigners who travel around finding missing persons. This is a must-watch, and I cannot believe it took me so long to watch both seasons. However, once you start, you won't be able to stop. I need to rewatch these series and hope they will announce a 3rd season.

  • Gyeongseong Creature Season 2

    226. Gyeongseong Creature Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2024, 7 episodes

    10

This is modern-day Seoul, with a +70-year gap between what happened back then. The same leads from the first season, and you gain an understanding of the creatures' evolution. This series is quite shorter (episodes are 45' instead of +60', and 7 episodes instead of 10). It leaves you wishing for more depth, but it was still very engaging. This is a favorite of sorts.

Love is the strongest drive in the whole series (filial and romantic loves), and the elements of horror are there because of the creatures; however, it focuses more on the people as creatures rather than just monsters.

  • Idol I

    227. Idol I

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    9.5

This is not the traditional romance idol drama. It is a well-crafted thrill mystery with a falling-in-love theme mixed in. I did not expect the twists and turns, and the acting was phenomenal; everyone in the series did an outstanding job. I liked the wrapped-up ending with a solid conclusion of unity and support. It will make you feel good.

  • Spring Fever

    228. Spring Fever

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

What a sweet kdrama, with lots of comedy and romance. I had lots of fun watching, and it is always a reminder to not judge appearances, or without knowing the whole story from everyone's perspectives. The ending felt a bit rushed, but I enjoyed it a lot overall.

  • Good Boy

    229. Good Boy

    Korean Drama - 2025, 16 episodes

  • Positively Yours

    230. Positively Yours

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

Another feel good drama that shows support from those around us. Establishing a connection with someone is not easy, and the desire to get to know someone and accept responsibility is what describes one's best. I loved the ending; it gave closure to the character's background-desires.

  • Not Others

    231. Not Others

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
