Fav historical C drama

I think I will rewatch this just because of Sa DinhDong's opening ost. It's beautiful. The visuals are great and the story telling is perfectly paced. One of the few Xianxia where I see both the ML and FL trusting and sacrificing for each other. 

not sure whether any other drama will replace this top spot for next 2 years. Maybe after that i will slowly forget the beauty just like long balled on 2nd spot LOL 

But this drama? made me cry laugh...much more. I was left with an empty void after watching this. 

God the main characters? they are so so in love omg, This drama is so good for a binge watch. After moonlight mystque this is the one i sat down and watched. Too many good looking male characters. Eye pleasing to me lol. I loved how much ML loved FL. His eyes??? he is so in love. Such an amazing actor gwaddd.

i am dead serious when i am saying how much i have waited for this drama. i watched the anime an year ago and i wanted the season 2 to air so bad but this was so much far from my expectations. far? beyond? much much better. I had no idea of the story after s1 of the anime so after 20eps of drama everything was new to me. The pacing of the story is so good. Not a single boring ep. I felt so bad for the Ml. He is tyrant but he is such a wife's man. He cares for the Fl so much. I have to admit that what he did, i can never do it for someone in real life.

Fl on the other hand, another green flag. Loved the ML through everything, trusted him and believed in herself as well . She is so smart i love her.

Let's talk about the dresses. The Fl's dresses were beautiful. The red and black dress and the green and white one. Wow just wow. 

Just so much you want from a down bad male lead. He loved her so much, mealted her iron heart. The biggest yearner is the FL after the ML dies. They both fell in love at different times and the perfect times if you asked me. FL opened her heart later but when she did, it was huge and she did everything for him. ML did everything from the begining. Such a beautiful story.

This was probably my earliest Historical drama. Very low on romance but too much to teach about life and death. I think i cried a lot while watching this. 

Omg where do I even start? The acting was top notch. I hated Lusi's character in the beginning but i think that was the point of the show. Her being immature because she lacked love to her becoming strong after being with the empress for long. She learnt a lot. And LBY? Those eyes? Bro is killing with those love filled expressions. 

My mom and I both watched this because apparently this turned out to be perfect portal of households and struggle of women in ancient past. It was such a soothing and comforting slice of life drama with mentally powerful ladies. Oh I loved watching the friendship between all of the female characters.

One Drama that I always comes back to because of how both of them are powerful. A badass FL is something rare in Historical dramas. The action scenes and the dynamic between the ML and FL was so good. I loved how they both trusted each other throughout.

This is like watching 7 different dramas in one. Everyone lifetime had interesting plot and taught us so much.
