Child/childhood abuse
Shows or movies that show the short-term or long-term psychosocial, economic or physical effects of childhood abuse (physical, emotional/psychological, sexual, forms of neglect), particularly from parents but instead could be from other adults or family members (this list isn't for school bullying). Or at least show abuse and give it some relevancy to the plot or character development at any point. If it's just a throwaway scene with no bearing on anything, then I probs won't but it in here. There's no clear threshold for "abuse" and it's a vague descriptor, but it's based on my opinion.
You can give a suggestion if you want.

1. At a Distance, Spring Is Green

An MC with emotionally/physically abusive parents (during childhood and adulthood) and the show clearly shows knock-on effects in their adulthood. Major part of the story.

Korean Movie - 2009
Three teen/adult MCs and one other character have gone through or are going through childhood emotional/physical/witness domestic violence abuse from parents. Major part of the story.
