QL Recommendations
Queer Love (and Related LGBTQ+) shows/movies that I recommend!
I've only listed something as BL or GL if a romantic relationship is at the heart of the story, but everything on here is canonically queer* and centres queer narratives.
*Some Chinese shows in here are censored, but given their source material and the history of QL in China, they've earned their right to be here.

18. A Tale of Thousand Stars

19. Guardian
Chinese Drama - 2018, 40 episodes
Bad CGI, noticeable plot holes, and an ending that hurt me, and yet there's something about it that makes me go "Yeah. That was a great show. I enjoyed it a lot. Would recommend!" Gives everyone brainrot. Maybe it's the characters? I love the characters dearly.
Category: Censored Chinese BL
Personal Note: I'm not kidding about the ending. It makes sense! But also it hits you in the head with a brick.
