A South Korean sound engineer/production sound mixer.

With over 20 years of experience in the film sound industry Lee Seung Yeop is acknowledged as one of the trusted film sound engineers – having extensive knowledge in audio technology. He started working at a record studio in 1996 with a dream of music. He began his film sound design and engineering career at Livetone in 1999, after working at the music recording studio for 4 four years. Since he was involved in Director IM Sang-soo’s second feature (2000) as a sound engineer, Lee covered various areas of film audio post production at Livetone working as a poly artist , as a sound designer, re-recording mixer and sound editing supervisor in the early half of the 2000s.

Leaving Livetone in 2006, he founded his own sound studio and worked as a sound supervisor in major motion pictures including (2007), (2008) and (2009). After his studio was acquired by an equipment provider, Lee was in charge of management of the company under the name, Studio K. In five years, Studio K has grew to be one of the most active sound studios in the Korean film industry, which is proficient in audio production of commercial films which is expected to meet the standards of common audiences. He is pursuing more realistic sound design, by closely working with foley teams in organic ways.

Lee has supervised many films that are varied in their genres, and are produced on a wide range of budgets. Major hit films are included in his filmography, such as (2011), <26 Years> (2012), (2012), (2013), (2014) and (2014). He has also actively tried new technologies in immersive audio format, re-recording for Sonictier and for Dolby ATMOS.

More recently after , he worked on the sound of director Yoo Ha's , director Kim Tae-hyeong's , and director Lee Seung-won's .
