Kim Tae Rae is a South Korean singer, dancer and member of ZeroBaseOne (제로베이스원, often simplified to ZB1). He graduated from Cheonan Ssangyong High School and is currently a student at Seoul Cyber ​​University. Before debuting, he spent 2 years and one month as a trainee.

In February 2023, he entered the singing survival show "Boys Planet" where he finished in 6th place and was able to join the project group. He made his debut in July 2023 as ZB1's main vocalist with their first mini-album, "Youth in the Shade". They are managed by WAKEONE Entertainment (웨이크원엔터테인먼트) and their contract is set to last for two and a half years.

In March 2024, they debuted in Japan under LAPONE Entertainment with the single "Yura Yura".
