Matsushita Saaya is a Japanese screenwriter.
After working as a planner at an advertising agency for more than 10 years, she started working as a planner and researcher and as a writer for media related to parenting and Japanese tea.
From 2022, she started to study screenwriting at a scenario school and entered which her original screenplay Spring! won the grand prize at the 23rd TV Asahi Newcomer Scenario Awards the following year.
She has a reputation for writing scripts for coming-of-age and romantic works, as well as work-related scripts that make use of her research skills.
