No Young Shim is a South Korean singer, pianist, composer, and lyricist. She graduated from Jungang Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Piano from Ewha Womans University. She is represented by Megahit Pictures (메가히트픽쳐스).

She made her debut in 1989 when she composed and wrote the lyrics for the song "Hopeful", included in Byun Jin Sub's second album. She then became active on TV, hosting a late night music show on KBS for 4 years between 1991 and 1994. She made her singing debut in 1992 with the single "A Man Who Remembers Everything".
