He joined Johnny & Associates in October 2010. In November 2016, he was chosen to be a member of Uchuu Six. On January 17, 2019, he, Mukai Koji and Raul were added as new members of Snow Man. On August 8, 2019, it was announced that Snow Man and SixTONES will simultaneously make their CD debut in 2020. He decided to leave Uchuu Six to concentrate on Snow Man.
In 2022, he won the Best Actor Award in the 31st TV LIFE Annual Drama Awards and ViVi's "National Treasure Class Handsome Ranking in the second half of 2022''. In 2023, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award and New Actor Award in the 46th Japan Academy Awards, the New Actor Award in The 96th Kinema Junpo Best Ten and the Best Supporting Actor Award in the TV station Drama Awards.
He won the Best Emerging Actor Award at the prestigious 15th TAMA Film Awards Ceremony for his performance in the film "My Happy Marriage," He is the first Smile Up (formerly Johnny & Associates) talent to secure this coveted accolade.
