Ba Ge was a Taiwanese actor and the founder of Zilan Art Design Company. He held various leadership positions, including executive director of the Republic of China Actors' Association, executive director of the Taiwan Performers' Association, and chairman of the Taiwan Quality of Life Association.

Ba's father held various public service roles in China and Taiwan, including district head and director of the Anhui Provincial Finance Department. Ba was the fifth child in a family of seven. His siblings included his oldest brother Pa Kung, a military officer, his second brother Pa Chien, who worked in television production and management, and his youngest sibling Pa Tung, a scholar of Zhang Daqian.

Ba began his career at the age of eight as a child star. He attended Chiang Shu Senior High School in Taipei and later graduated from the National Taiwan Academy of Arts, where he studied graphic design and the arts. In 1977, he served in the military on Dongying Island in the Matsu Islands.

After completing his studies, Ba joined CCTV, where he worked for 36 years. However, in 1987, he was blacklisted by the station for supporting artist welfare, resulting in a year-long absence from television.

Ba married his classmate, Chang Ling Na, in 1981. They had two daughters, Ba Yun and Ba An, and two sons, Ba Sheng and Ba Ce.

Ba was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in September 2021 and passed away on February 16, 2022, at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan.
