Kim Mi Ryu is a South Korean comedian. She graduated from Booyoung Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in English from Hanyang Women's University.

She made her debut in 2006 as part of a special recruitment for comedians at MBC. She gained popularity as a rookie with her funny characters and was even nominated for an award but after a few years, her characters became a bit repetitive and comedy shows at MBC were not very relevant, so she faded in terms of popularity.

She struggled to get any relevant roles for several years, so she started appearing in variety shows and even in minor roles in musicals or dramas. She returned to comedy after earning a role in "Comedy Big League" and regaining her popularity from the past.
