After graduating from Toei Gakuen Vocational School, after working as an assistant director at Kyoto Taihata Photo Studio, he made an independent film. Each of the independent films produced will be released to theaters. Debuted as a commercial movie with the self-remake "MEATBALL MACHINE".

Although he suffered from cerebral hemorrhage in 2014, after a year of rehabilitation, the TV Setouchi 30th anniversary drama "Ganbare! In "White Peaches", he was in charge of the director and screenplay, and returned to the scene. Since then, he has been energetically shooting theater films.
