Mc HotDog is known as the "Godfather of Taiwanese Hip Hop" and is considered a key influential figure in the development of Chinese hip-hop. He attended Fu Jen Catholic University, where he garnered fame as a rap artist. His self-made album circulated on campus and became such a hit that his reputation spread to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
