Not everyone that enthusiastically starts something,finishes it. Thats life. They found better things in the process and it didnt look like the drama was trying to tie loose ends
With the whole fuss this drama created before airing, one would think it would be bad. Does it have filters? Yeah. Were they trying to make him look younger? Nope. Is the storyline good? Yes They discussed heavily about him looking old.
I'm watching for the first time. Apart from the incredible plot of this drama, the cast is insanely talented. It's like they gave their all to this drama,their sweat, their everything. The only 2020s historical dramas that have invoked this type of strong feeling in me are The Rebel Princess and Joy of Life.

For the people that didn't read the novel,i remember the drama being marketed as a mulan/mjty type of drama. With a Fierce female lead from onset. So i get the disappointment, but the moment you do away with it,the drama is pretty enjoyable. To me it's just a historical romantic comedy with fighting scenes
Qiao Qing Yu's mom is refusing to HEAR HER and that's one problem parents have,just because you're an elder doesn't make you right all the time and watching her family members gaslight her irritates me same with Ming sheng's dad. They are not hearing their kids.
I used to say that ken wu looks like Wi lei,now watching this drama,he looks so much like Ji Sung. They have the same muscular build too. The drama is good too

Batay was depicted as mature at first,so I thought he was out of her league too but later his age started showing in our he reacted,behaved,i guess the death of his horse toughened it up just from the 5 sec clips that was shown in the last episode. I wish they would have added another episode

It's annoying when a character loses their memory and becomes weak
Its an amazing drama,the 8.0 rating and reviews made me watch it
I mean,just add one episode for the hugs,the reunion,it's not that hard
I love the drama though
Reminded me of the old cdramas I used to watch on youtube.
