Seriously can we now get over the whole the adults acting immature, the showrunners decided this was a romcom…
Yeah, no, if comedy for you means whatever this show is, good for you ig, but people can have comedy and romance from adults acting like actual adults, and it's not even that their interactions are childish, their older versions have no depth at all, when it should be the case after everything we saw them go through.
If you don't like criticism, move on and look for the reviews you agree with.
It’s fascinating how Gu Yi and Dai Wen seem to be living in two entirely different genres—it's almost comedic!…
THISSSS, production is insaaane in this one! This contrast between dark/cold vs light/warm (note how it's mostly artificial lights) is so intentional and so well planned.
I find it interesting that nobody seems to acknowledge his negative emotions and how he is actually able to express them, we've seen him afraid, frozen, desperate, etc., one only needs to pay attention... or maybe it's something only intended for the audience cause there's always a zoom to his face when he's going through something.
I'm in real awe of Shen Yue's performance in here! Her character feels so natural, so real, so humane, she adds so much layer to it, from her micro expressions, physical, facial and vocal; her tones when speaking, her smiles, she's such a delight to watch! It never feels awkward or forced when she's in scene... and I mean, everyone's doing a really good job but man, she's shining!
Did you read the novel? Can you tell me the reason of breakup and whether she dated someone else after breakup?
Neither dated other people in between their break up and reunion, as for the reason... I don't want to spoil much but she breaks up with him after one of her best friends commits suicide the summer before starting university, there was a misunderstanding between FL and said friend that causes her to feel culpability over her death and that ends up casting a shadow on her relationship with ML, so she breaks up with him without an explanation, only pretending she doesn't like him anymore.
We know it's being aired either in november or december (since it's confirmed to be in the Q4 plan of this year) but I think it might follow the timeline of the novel, at least for the beginning, in the novel everything begins to unfold around a month before the winter solstice, that means around the 3rd-4th week of november, fingers crossed it's earlier than that🤞
I've rewatched this a few times but for some reason, it still feels incomplete in my mind. If they can get 20-something…
I don't think it was about that, they probably needed household names to bring traffic to the movie since the main cast were all pretty much newcomers back then
What bothers me the most about this drama, besides not revealing what exactly happened to her sister in the end, is that Ju Hyeri -the personality- practically replaced Ju Hyeri -the sister-. For FL and everyone in her current life, that name will continue to be associated with her other personality, overshadowing the memory of her younger sister. And that's honestly really sad :(
This drama has so many beautiful female leads; I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many in one show. Each of…
So happy to see Vian Wang again! She's been on Go Ahead/The Day of Becoming You and she always plays such amazing girl friends to the FLs, always a girls' girl, can't wait!

But abandoning his CATS? Liang Daiwen, you monster.
