Finally, FINALLY, a time travel k-drama where everything makes sense! I'm so impressed with the way they handled and maintained one single timeline, that no action changed the past because they were all considered from the beginning no matter how many times he went back, even the HEA made sense.
There were no loose ends or loopholes, we want more of these smarty written dramas with top notch acting!
I love how the writer always incorporate something that happened in a different timeline into the current timeline.…
Even with the killer's ending, which was exactly the same way he hurt Sol, and Taesung's dad saying that someone that was going to die by his hand is alive thanks to his death.
also... girl, i know it was the shock but why were you just standing there staring instead of getting your man out of the way from that cliff, she had like 3 lifetimes to go over to him and at least prevent him from falling off, maybe he would've died still but ugh.
So curious about what's gonna happen when he finally finds her amidst the tragedy, with the knowledge that she will be able to see him and maybe be of help in changing things.
So far we've only seen him travel from future to present, conscious of the way the present unfolds, reluctant to follow it through but unable to change it.
If he does get to go back and change the past, will it all be for better... or worse? will it open an alternate reality or inevitably alter the present? will he do it even after falling for her... will saving her add to saving his senior and consequently his relationship? will it get to a point of having to choose?
So many interrogates I'm so excited to see through.
all the viewers and critics on Korean side are just Praising and empathizing with SOL's character and HYEYOON's…
I LOVED her charater the first episodes, I cried together with Im Sol when she first went back to past, to a time when Sun Jae was safe, her grandma recognized her and she was still able to walk. All thanks to Hye Yoon's acting.
It has more to do with these past few episodes. She just keeps getting misunderstood but won't explain a thing, even when she is able to.
I am so confused... She came back the second time on January 1, 2023 after midnight... She missed her meeting…
I think so, she believed they were all saved until those small details happened regardless and he still showed up just like the first time, in the exact same way, but oh surprise, psycho couldn't get him that night so he tried to kill him the next moment he got.
And it's is probably the same psycho in every timeline. Original tl: He gets arrested on that bridge after Sun Jae saves her and stops him from flying the scene.
2nd tl: He doesn't get arrested on the night of the bridge incident but next year, when there's a second kidnapping and Sun Jae saves her (this is explained in ep 9), and again, stops him until the police arrives.
3rd and current tl: bridge incident happened and she is currently preparing herself for the second kidnapping, trying to push Sun Jae away so he doesn't get involved, since every scenario ends up with psycho reaching Sun Jae in the present, looking for revenge after being released from prison.
I binged all nine episodes and absolutely loved it, but I have to say, the way the writer keeps embarrassing the…
YES! Even with all that she was somehow able to get things done in the first episodes, but all she's doing now is getting misunderstood and into these stupid scenarios, repeatedly, unable to explain herself.
Look, I love peak loserism and a silly and messy hs romance as much as the next girl BUT Im Sol is furstrating me already, she keeps barging into his life without consequence, confusing him and just messing with him with no context, she went back to save him and her only plan was to ignore him. She could have tried to make him realize it on his own, when she couldn't say it herself that she was from the future, and explain or lie that she saw it in a dream, man's head over heels in love with her and he was already suspicious after the first incident, I doubt he wouldn't have tried to believe it and understand her motives. (Before ep 9, of course).
She really isn't giving him the choice to move on, and honestly, my man deserves to.
I feel her character lost so much dimension these past few episodes, she wasn't allowed to explain things in the past but still wasn't able to communicate well in the present. ugh.
You can't carry out a plot and develop a lasting relationship with just comedy and silly stuff.
man, there was this really weird cut in episode 4 while chen maidong gave zhuang jie a ride. what happened after…
The scene where they saw a woman being taken away? I thought the purpose was to show ZhuangJie sense of justice and adrenaline? She was complaining before seeing what was happening but she was reaching the couple faster than MaiDong even when she couldn't walk properly due to the pain... propelling the questioning in front of her house.... 'was she pretending and playing around or was it for real?', kinda what MaiDong has been struggling with this whole time.
But yes, I agree it was poorly executed, they could've shown a little bit more about what happened after, did they call the police, was it settled down?
The song is Laputa by Yi Sung Yol

Ps. Please bear with my overuse of change jsjs.
