It's always refreshing to see an authentic, confident, smart and principled FL, and Zhou Yu Tong wears Zhuang Jie’s character so naturally it’s impossible not to root for her, she is just phenomenal.
Now for Chen Mai Dong, we get little glimpses to prove that he isn’t your typical cold and expressionless ML, he is a much more complex person, shaped differently by loads of past experiences. I love how he is always honest with her, respects her even behind her back, even more when he is still prejudiced about her, and lends a hand to her in serious matters.
Y’all don’t seem to like this but I actually appreciate it a lot when we have a ML that has loved before, that just shows his vulnerability and ability lo love and his emotional strength to move on. I love even more how open and unapologetic she is about her feelings in general, she doesn’t hide the fact that she kinda likes Mai Dong and that she has now started to talk about this man in her life who she wants to heal from.
Now in that subject, their sibling relationship is so convincing and logical and wholesome??? When she refers to her little sister as the most reliable one because she inherited their step father’s genes??? Excuse me while I ugly cry.
In conclusion, show keeps beating my expectations with every new episode. Not excited about a certain thing that has to happen next but so ready for how they handle every single relationship from now on!
I FREAKING KNEW IT! He looked over sooo fast when he saw her stuck on the bridge after the concert, and he was really sweet with her, and he kept the candy she gave him on the table, AND the radio call.
At first I thought the whole travel back in time still happened in the original timeline, that he went on with his life, carrying the memories they made together from when she traveled back to the past and that she would have no idea until she was older and experienced it for the first time (does this make any sense jsjs), kinda like Someday or one day.
But it doesn't seem to be the case now that we see things are changing the future. How heartbreaking now that he was looking at their photograph before jumping :'(
His little crush on her was such a nice surprise (not so much a surprise tbh because he's ever so patient and nice with her), I'm loving it SO MUCH! Can't wait to see where it takes us!
FINALLY YES but also... that front door hug was wholesome 🥺 I kinda love these very subtle acts we are seeing…
On a side note, I wish we get to see realization dawn upon Gu Xun that while she did pretend and exaggerate her demure and naive act when they interacted in the past, there IS a side of her that gets shy and soft spoken in front of the person she likes. A part of her I'm sure he will come to love just the same and appreciate ever more.
FINALLY YES but also... that front door hug was wholesome 🥺 I kinda love these very subtle acts we are seeing of YQL taking care of him, this, when she brought him dinner after she saw that he witnessed the confession, trying to make him laugh and hugging him to comfort him, driving around so he could sleep longer and taking an overnight train looking for him, we got to see a naive, badass, confident, angry, shy and sad Yue Qian Ling, now we get to see one protective YQL fully giving in to the love and finally trusting GX's love for her.
What traumatic past event? Her working as an intern in her department store that she was about to inherit?
In the intro and when she was standing frozen due to the attacking boar, we see flashes of her life, some seem to be from when she was young, there's a boy wearing the same uniform whom I believe is BHW, and there's two hands grasping each other underwater, it seems (maybe this could be her brother, and the reason he passed? Not sure). But this is the traumatic past I meant.
I hope HHI learns about the divorce papers and BHW's disgusting first reaction to her illness one way or another. I understand they wanted to show us his desperation, but the way he was so happy is sickening, how could one trust their partner after something like that?
I think this is my first time not caring about any side character or wanting to learn more about their stories. Her family is awful. His family, except for his mom, is awful. His friend could be worse but still. 2ML gave me the creeps. And I don't see that changing anytime soon, I'm feeling zero empathy for them.
Also UGH another drama where the leads know each other from when they were young due to a traumatic past event? Really? It has gotten BORING.
I feel very conflicted about this drama. I feel sympathy for both leads but the way they treat each other sometimes…
Specially him. I get that he couldn't stand her anymore but being that happy that she is dying soon, unable to wipe that smile off his face, getting anxious about her surviving, that's awful. I really don't see this ending well, I could never forgive something like that or move past that.
Does anyone know why the fl is pissed off at the ml as seen in the video when he apologised and dragged her into…
Yes! She finds out he is campus hunk after dropping a hint to him online (remember she already suspects it) and Gu Xun appearing in real life.
The real groveling will begin after tomorrow's episode tho, so I don't see their dating era starting any time soon, before it was just his rude rejection that he was trying to 'make up' for, now it is that plus hiding his identity and blatantly prying on her secrets and concerns about him in rl.
I'm 99% sure the grandfather knows Do Han is gay. At least he suspects it. I just don't get why he would leave…
I think the grandfather knows too. I believe he is trying to give Do Han enough power to control any possible leaks of his private life later on, and make him kinda untouchable as a chairman. Part of it because he feels guilty about the way his daughter's life turned out (he probably forced her to marry that awful politician dude), he's always wearing this conflicted look whenever Ji Han and Do Han are around, like he's trying to make up for that somehow.
how can they not realise eachother voices 😭😭😭 it’s actually hilarious bc in real life we’d notice…
I don't remember the voice changing app thing but there are times they both get suspicious in the drama too, with the way they say specific things or mention things they have said online, specially him, and he actually asks her but she denies them since she is acting the naive and demure girl in contrast to her silly/badass/sarcastic real self.
From the trailer....he will know she confessed to him after he rejected her in RL.?That the RL confession girl…
Yes! He will.
SPOILER! (or not, since it's in the trailer jsjs) Soon after being rejected, when she's on a call with the online team and everyone's trying to comfort her.
For the airing schedule, I don't think they have released it yet, but you will be able to look for it in the 'Photos' section up here, pretty soon I hope.
what happened to jin we barely saw him throughout the show
I think he really hit it off with curly hair finalist? They visited the family farm together ... and he seemed pretty content with everything in general.
Pretty coherent and understandable imo, have fun!

You can read up to chapter 19 for free here using google automatic translation, the rest of chapters are blocked unfortunately :(
