Previously I did have high hope in this drama..I am waiting since last year.. I do like the story premise and the actors..but surely the writing and directing are the weak factors . Sigh..
The execution is very poor and seems lazy directing/writing...
Even the lovey dovey scenes can not move my heart...LoL
Well I still keep watching this drama but with low expectation...

yes her mother is previous preceptor and she is get sentence to death because of having a man..Du preceptor was forgiven because the young emperor/prince at that time pledge her..that's why she is very loyal to him

The actor is every where..from turtle deity to coward minister to physician LoL....

I do like they give us present times first and then back again before back to the present times later, so we can understand the background story
and I do like the pace because it means we will get more stories for the present...

The drama has shown as hateful relation since the beginning, so I will content with the small gesture progress of their relations in the dramas...And based on the episode released, I am sure that they will move from "enemy" to lover to fight their common enemies...
At least they don't have obstacle such as from hateful foreign country like GBMy princess or the ML has oath not to marry for the sake of the country ..sigh....
However I don't know whether this one get happy ending (meaning both leads live at the end of the drama) or not..but I still have big hope for that HE that they will rule the kingdom side by side happily ever after LOL

Well, even though it will be sad ending, but if the drama journey is good ...I still watch it and get ready since the beginning LoL

I do enjoy the drama...the plot is classic plot but I am okay with it..and I am happy that the chemistry between the leads is already there

Based on the drama, they said that he inherited the throne since young age so basically he is not really new emperor, but he is a "puppet emperor" who try to break free. The real power are the Empress Dowager and the Grand Tutor..
We can see that Empress Dowager was there behind the curtain all of the time when emperor has meeting session with minister..
That's why the Grand Tutor voice in beginning said that he will get real power if he married LCC (which is Grand Tutor daughter herself..well the Grand Tutor still want to maintain the real power)
So yes, I think he has quite leisure time LoL...

I think anti hero role is one of the role that easier to attract the anticipation of viewer comparing to the real ML .. it is grey and usually has a lot of emotions, and many writers actually often love this character more than the noble ML LoL...so anti hero character will have many good lines and scenes..
and I am happy that Chang Hua Sen get this kind of script to polish his acting skill, yes he has developed gradually..
he is more relax here compare in Moonlight Mistique or in Are You the One

i enjoy the show and the leads, however I must say that I laugh when I saw the banquet scene..why there are no other rich family in the capital city beside Wei, Song, Hu, Gu, Chu and Yao LoL....the director should put more extras to make it more make sense

i understand this cultural thing..and it is understood that the father's family has to be responsible to the children eventhough the father has passed away..and yes, they bring the surname of their father so whenever they do something beneficial or malicious to society, the father family is the one that getting the impact the most..and actually in this drama the Wei family has very high morality, they actually allowed if the lady would like bring the children, but the lady should ensure that the children will have good living condition outside Wei family.

lady song and brother chu, and there is third couple, miss chu jin and first brother of song

she has so many kept man under her wings, her emperor brother keep silent because he is feel guilty toward her where she was sufferring in her previous marriage (only for help her brother secure emperor position)

I have low expectation in the beginning..but apparently I do enjoy it very much.
Based my watching Ryan, this is his best act in the drama until now..and for Victoria, I haven't finish watching any of her drama but I do like her in this one..
From the writing,the acting and the fighting scene up tp 11 episode...i will give this 8.4 score

Yes..the writer always explaining the reason why the plot hoint this way or that way in the characters' lines...it helps the viewer understand more..for example the age gaps between the leads from big brother sentence and the reason why FL choose this path from her dialogue with her maid

Ib ancient china, I think when the wife died, the sister can married to the husband...you can see in Wallace chung and Tang song yun..but I don't know if it is the opposite..the husband that died
In some other asian culture it is allowed because they are not related by blood..

Yup..i think that is the point that's why they even stated clearly that he is three year younger than her...the brother on purpose said that for us to understand the plot hehe
