i think that was not trivial matter bcoz nianqin think her she will leave him like his mother and what fl mother…
While true that they're not trivial, I still think they could've talked it out instead of just break-up immediately. Well, guess they're young and impulsive. Older folks are probably better at conflict-resolution before resorting to disasterous ultimatum.
Pretty good! Cute guy, cute red girl, pretty white girl and a badass female lead. Glad to see Cristy Guo in a main role. Good story but pacing rather slow. Granted not a big-budget production, but the overuse of low-grade AI background looks jarring at times. Audio is appropriate, but volume seems to be lowered in fights. Still, a recommended watch, coz better than many full-length dramas.
Not bad! Interesting first-third, with good comedy. Super slow-burn romance in middle-third; where I watched at 2 X Speed. Became action-packed in final-third, with good BGM. Has a pretty good story with enough plot twists to keep you guessing. Bai Lu played her various roles really well.
Interesting first 10 epidoes. Then drags. Even the couple becomes unromantic. Also, why do the couple break-up over some trivial stuff? I fast-forwarded the later part of it. The outstanding thing is one particular BGM ... reminds me "The Queen's Gambit" coz the tune is so similar!
Very few ... and those few are normally very draggy. That's why I prefer watching donghua.
"Who Rules the World" is a standard-length Chinese drama which I feel is quite close to this wonderful mini-drama. The pacing is quite fast for a standard drama, though not as fast as this mini-drama. The main characters are almost as badass as the ML in this mini-drama. While it's not a cultivation-based drama, the super-human sword-fights are just as satisfying to watch.
You may wanna give it a try.
Oh ... just remember another one that's closer to this mini-drama in theme but not as fast pacing - "The Blood of Youth".
10/10 Way more fun than those big budget full-length 40-episodes drama! I prefer donghua more than drama (coz draggy), but this mini-drama has all the elements I like about donghua - fast-paced, pretty girls, harem, special effects, nice intro song & epic fights. Will wait for Season 2 ... but meanwhile, I'll look for more fun from donghua or other mini drama series.
