It's stories like this one that makes me continue watching Japanese productions even though most of the times the histrionics acting they use to do, puts me off a lot! Not here. Here is all good and fluffy and that kid is just the cutest thing I've seen in a long time ... and I don't like kids! Great story, great acting, just enough drama and a final full of promise and optimism.
Sorry but that's it? What happened here with the missing scenes? we have a Han Joon really worried 'cos he's lost his phone and it's really late, worrying in the train and suddenly is sitting on the swing and all it's OK... how did they found each other? where is the reunion explaining what has happened? What's gonna happen with the mum? and how is Yoo Jae going to pay for his tuition? Where is gonna live? Few of the many scenes where we move from one situation to another rather abruptly without proper explanation...??? This obsession with new BLs with super short eps is really ruining great stories. This could have been good but unfortunately this series is a flop for me. The earlier eps seem to have been better up until the moment Han Joon asks Yoo Jae to let him go if there are not going to be together. From that moment on, it just went downhill. Fair enough if you don't want to add anything remotely near to physical intimacy but at least give us great chemistry!! No chemistry like at all, I believe just once they hold hands .. what type of boyfriends are they after 100 days and not even one touch...??? quite sure will never watch this one again. So disappointed.

Wasn't an american film already out there with similar plot? I seem to recall the girl working at a train ticket booth that helps a guy unconscious in the platform and lies to the paramedics in order to stay with him... when he wakes up in hospital has amnesia and the family, on seeing her in his room just assume is the girlfriend while his older brother has his doubts... Sorry but cannot recall the name. From the synopsis this seems to be a remake. I liked the american version, I hope this one is also as nice.

He gets into an accident indirectly because of her and at one point it appears he will no longer be able to walk (gets better no worries 😋, we are talking about a lakorn lol) but all his youth plans get dashed at that point.
I really recommend this one. I have recently watched it and even though it gets a bit dull during the "coma" period, it's essential to understand the whole concept. I liked the subtlety portraying a gay relationship and the slow acceptance of the mum after confronted with the fact. This one left me with a bittersweet feeling. You wanted them to be back as they were but reality calls...the all have changed and that's no longer possible. I see a future of close friendship but the love is just no longer there.
I just hope in finale they fking Divorce already or im dropping the rating to Negative if possible

The excuse that she loves her kids...kids?? pleazzzzeee ... they're adults with their own lives already not 3 year olds in need of a mum! Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the comments here saying that lots of great dramas are totally ruined by the ending/last chapter. Somehow directors/writers seem to go ga-ga at the end and things get so messed up is freaking unbelievable! Totally hope she ends up the epitome of the strong woman "don't need no men" attitude but with a hint that she may change in future and look kindly towards Dr Roy
Just finished this one and unfortunately I have to agree with most of the comments there. Not all. It's not a bad movie... but it does a 360 on the prequel. The message of the first one is that the future is full of possibilities. The message on this one is that being gay means you are most definitely be unhappy the rest of your life whatever you do. Because if you don't do anything to ruin your happiness, others will do as they cannot stand to see you having something they don't. That's the message...despair, sadness, pain... that's what gay means. End of story. Even at the very end when some people think that the last scene is a bit of an open, maybe positive, ending... no, it's not. To me clearly, are going to be polite, say hi, but in the end, they will say goodbye and continue their opposite paths. Director, could have made it a happy ending when both of them were in the flat, but he/she chose not to.
Don't care about negative comments... I truly loved this short story. Well made, well acted and just long enough. Even the music was good. For those saying that it was predictable.. well, so what? I would still watch it. Was it a second War and Peace?, no it wasn't and it doesn't pretend to be. Just cute, bit emotional at times and with just the right amount of romance and sports scenes. Note, this is not a bromance story and as far as I know it wasn't marketed as that. If it was, then it was wrong. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this one. Was waaay better than other more pretentious with bigger budgets out there. The only one that i found a bit annoying was the Ji Na character dancing same all the time (and not that well either) but not so much as to ruin the overall feeling of the film. I totally recommended for a bit of feel good factor on a small dosis. I will totally watch again in the future.

I believe all dramas take inspiration from real life. That to make them more interesting sometimes exaggerate, that's also true. What worries me most is that sometimes you find that real life is even worse than what is portrayed in a drama. After reading some cases in the news, I truly believe that these dramas portraying bullying don't appear to be going far enough. Sad times.
This is one of those series that you have to watch to make your own mind about it. For me it was OK. Not the best but not bad. What I have to make sure everybody knows is that this one has one of the best OSTs I've ever encountered. Every single song is just beautiful and will continue listening to for years to come. Just perfect!
Sooo... Nagisa breaks up with Shun out of the blue... then 8 years later he just get himself and a kid in front of his house without so much of a 'by your leave' and expect to be welcomed without any probs... did I miss anything? Not saying that the film is bad ...it's just that Nagisa attitude is unbelievable and it annoyed me sooo much that I could not warm up to the story. I would have allowed the kid to pee and then send them on his way. He's literally using their past history for free board and housing and no even a prospect of a job any time soon!! and worst of all, while Shun appears to be annoyed at first, he quickly just accept them as nothing has happened, wth!!!Na ah, I just could not get past this personally and it coloured my opinion of Nagisa for the rest of the film. Glad I did watch it though, as I mentioned, it's not a bad film and I recommend watching it to make your own opinion.
I've just watched this one for a second time today just in case I missed something the first time around ...and I didn't... One thing is to have 8 eps, I'm all for short formats instead of the 55 of chinese series... but 8 FULL eps ... not just with 10 mins content and the rest recaps and credits! At least give me 50 mins of content in 8 eps and would be perfect. Here although the premise is original, there's just not enough time to explain things... why the curse? which God? what really happened in the past? what's Denis doing here? was the curse lifted at the end or not? gonna be a season 2? It just could have been great and unfortunately it wasn't. Also, and this is one of my pet peeves... some korean directors they just cannot do kisses, they just can't (loved "Unintentional love story' but the kisses are just sad, very sad) If that's the case please, please do not give us the routine fish kiss... it's just embarrassing. Much prefer if there is none honestly. Series out there without just one kiss and they are perfect and cute and lovely eg:. shoulder to cry on (even with the bad last chapter). Sooo not recommend to watch unfortunately, unless there's absolutely nothing else and you need to have some background noise.
Loved this series... only complain I have is wtf is going on with the second couple? Dong Hee first being all against poor Hotae, then saying that he cannot admit he loves him 'cos his auntie... however we can see the auntie is Ok with him being gay... don't get it really why all the drama... we need a Season 2 to sort this out asap!
