In the end it's all a dream of FL and she is in the alternative reality of dream, and ML in this drama portrayed a pure and innocent soul living in the secluded place because of his master...etc, for viewers to write gave a happy ending.
Neither good nor bad kinda feelings giving this drama. The starting phase of the drama is better than each episode passes that diminished. The ML turned into a retreaded person intolerable part in this drama. The individuals always making poor choices turmoil their relationship that is ML and FL. Action scenes in this drama kinda awkward and not convince able, and especially FL fighting scenes exaggerated; despite flaws it's watchable drama, and if you want no other drama left to watch 😉 you can invest for this drama.

I said the politics not historical, I know it's a historical drama. I specifically said about the poltics involvement ruining the drama.
It's a sanguk and there will always be politics involved as the characters are always from aristocratic families…
I know the caste system involved in every part of the history and that was existed in the world. Modern or historical drama, the same richest people story telling became irreplaceable in the drama's. Moreover, we can relate common people story only limited number or if that normal story only minimal shows.

Other than historical drama if politics involved these types of genere it might be destroy that essence want to portray. More these k drama or historical drama showing ( not real history) especially fictional type only showing rich and powerful type people stories, and not portrays about normal commoner people stories.
Politics in the rom-com is the worst formula for this drama. A group of people is the death behind princess, and it's connected to the FL mother-in-law and father-in-law. The stiffness in ML acting kinda boring for future episodes.
Cheong Ah stepmom is a evil and she causing ruckus on Cheong Ah. The evil must be punished on next episodes that will be heartwarming end of Cheong Ah miseries. Cheong Ah dad is worthless piece of shit, he doesn't care about her daughter or silly things of his daughter. If care about her he didn't end up with gold digger or atleast he could be care about select good stepmother for her child.
Ep 15 maybe devastating same as EP 14, the each secret unraveled in EP 14 might be hardest path for Eun Gyeol to avoid Yi chan fate being deaf. The fate how hard try to avoid it will happen, may be Yi chan losing his hearing ability is inevitable.
Overall, it's an okay drama with overused noble idiocy and misunderstanding tropes from start to finish. If you're a fan of the main leads, you might want to continue, but the drama's rating is quite misleading and not fair to new viewers. There's zero chemistry between the main leads, and the male lead comes across as naive or, in other words, not very bright. It wasn't worth the time I invested, and I couldn't continue watching it halfway through. The main issue is that the actress's acting is not appealing, and her expressions fail to convey the story effectively.
The small wave writer is attempting to create in Episode 3, but it's portraying average experiences. This episode follows a typical plot with an evil minister craving more power, killing the princess, and creating obstacles for the main character (ML).In terms of love, the female lead (FL) is still in love with her late husband in the present moment. The male lead (ML) is developing feelings for the FL despite his situation, but he is denying those emotions. If their romance were to blossom, there might be a slim chance they could end up together.
The romance flourished in each couple, and at the same time, the main leads' 1995 span of life was almost coming to an end. The Yi Chan and Cheong Ah couple were more sparkling than the main couple, and it's their love story. Episode 13 left a better impression compared to the previous ones. The development of the second lead couple was steady and slow, without suddenly expressing love without a solid foundation. The main couple's relationship was not compelling.
Overall, it's been a while since I've watched a good drama. This one takes you on a journey through the lives of different individuals, delving into their emotions and revealing their scars. The main plot revolves around psychological themes, while also exploring the progression of the main leads' relationship. It's not solely a romance drama; instead, romance is a side plot amidst other significant events in the storyline. It's a compelling story that conveys a powerful message about mental health.
The political aspects of the drama seemed to slow down the plot, but one redeeming quality is the relationship progression of the main characters and the mutual trust that develops between them. The action scenes involving the main characters appeared to be scenes somewhat exaggerated. The physics in the action, especially during the fight scenes, often left much to be desired. It would be better if the show portrayed more logical and believable action scenes, as the current ones are not easy to digest due to their lack of impact.
In episode 12, Yi Chan realizes his true feelings for Cheong Ah. However, Cheong Ah becomes more distant from Yi Chan, and Eun Yu starts acting differently. Her mom and her dad's true love is the focus of her emotions. The relationship dynamics between the main leads are like a roller coaster, with emotions fluctuating.
What kind of logic, king widowed son-in-law cannot remarry? Does this beginning of the series bestowing a mixed feelings or does it drag the main leads relationship into uncessary plots. The king could be main obstacle in their relationship. ML expression same as destined with you series and same kinda acting.
The last 10 episodes are overdramatic and drag on with the leads' relationship. The female lead (FL) starts as a positive character but her decisions towards the end aren't favorable for the male lead (ML). She breaks up a marriage, spends 5 years apart from her family, and dedicates her life to an empress. At times, I don't like her character as there's not much depth beyond her excessive kindness and noble idiocy, making her seem somewhat bland. In the initial episodes of the drama, she has more to offer compared to the second half. The ML seems to have the same expression most of the time, and his revenge plot is entangled with numerous subplots. FL is most annoying character in second part and she most annoying character, and her immature decisions didn't portray a healthy relationship. Overall, it's a watchable drama and good revenge plots.
Eun Gyeol is trying to avoid accidents and prevent them for Yi Chan, but the same incidents keep recurring at 100 times their original speed. Tomorrow's episodes will cause even more emotional distress, but the preview shows that at the same time, there is hope that the dark clouds will pass among the four leads, and they can overcome these obstacles."
