Why didn't they not ended up together? Eui jeong failed as a partner and as wife. She knew it wan an undercover operation and anything could happen. Moreover, she wavering feelings both ML and SML. She didn't need to interfere this undercover operation. She is not a loyal wife. As for Ki chul fate , he chose that path;no one forced him.

It's better for him, why does he need a disloyal wife?, he will move on.

It appears that Eui Jeong is not loyal to Joon Mo in the end.
Bad ending

At the end of the day he is a criminal and a gang leader of the drug organization, there is no way he will ever live a peaceful life or fullfill dream life with his love, or escape his fate.

I don't believe that's the only reason he finds Joon Mo trustworthy. Ki Chul is often biased towards Eui Jung due to the fact that she is his first love in both the past and the present. Moreover, ki chul and his stubbornness could become problem in his future, because of he often falis to listen his trustworthy gang members. The reason behind is that he is blinded by love sickness.

Eui jeong's character is useless character untill EP 9. She didn't make any progress in the investigation. The show is much better Without that character. Ha Rayeon is much more better than Eui jeong character.

In the story, there are few romantic moments between the main lead (ML) and the female lead (FL), and these moments are limited to the end of the story. Furthermore, the ML lived with toxic people in both his past and present life, and the secondary male lead (SML) often acts in a creepy manner. Most of the drama in the story revolves around the romance between FL and SML, but in the end, FL chooses the ML. FL and SML romance, she is confused between because of her heart. The below comments divided between ML and SML, most of them SML side and not satisfied with the ending. SML is also engaging in unjust actions by accusing and acting with a prejudiced mindset towards a particular person, even though he is a two-timer and cheated in a relationship with FL. Additionally, the writer justifies this cheating by portraying his fiancée as turning into a psychopath.
The fickle mind of the Female lead has damaged her character, and she lacks a specific stance when it comes to love. That's why her past and present are constantly in conflict with the main leads.

The ending of the drama was not convincing. In the webtoon, I noticed a different ending based on some comments. Joon ended up with a different woman. Overall, the drama was good, but it highlighted how a celebrity's life is often controlled by toxic fans and agencies."

They are bunch of hypocrites, and they're acting as it they if they've never seen any violent movies/dramas in their whole life.

I don't know exact details, i saw from a facebook post and had checked the news, the reason behind this knetz didn't like it because of extreme violence and diminishing scholars or something like that and also knetz signing petition for sbs fire writer/director.

Everyone has the right to criticize the drama. It's not a one-way path and everyone knows this is an action thriller.However, the drama conveys differs from the actual meaning, with the writer showing this uncessary romance distract and spice things up. Viewers are allowed to criticize it.

Ki chul living in his delusional world, Ki Chul has chosen the path to become a gang leader, but now he is contradicting himself for a woman and not listening to his path followers and friends. The central plot of this drama is slipping with unnecessary romance that doesn't contribute to the main storyline. Ki Chul's future will become messy and uncertain, and he will face unprecedented situations. Maybe he will pay for his sins with his death or imprisonment.
