I think the reason for this hate train is probably because A shui kinda like TLC or maybe she's just so nice that people assume it......and TLC doesn't seems to reciprocate it or maybe he does but its not very clear. Which is now very weird reason to hate her because she is FL.
I personally like A shui character, since she is only one with no magical power yet the most compassionate and 'useful' in most severe condition. The reason she sometimes act the way she act is because she really cares about TLC [I still don't knows if its platonic or romantic], as a 3rd person we all see TLC as the most powerful one but as a character she doesn't know the extant of his powers so she do worries about him in her own ways......... and also because he was the only one who provided her the shelter and protection she needed despite of all the suspicion.
In fact, she is never clingy, she does her work and steps back. As a normal person I can confirm that her behavior might be little suspicious sometimes but its not worth hate. In contrary I definitely dislike Liu yan character......... he is definitely annoying. 😑
I don't remember the exact show name but it was definitely one of the variety show where he talked about how song yiren invited him to her "house party" and how she has many "very well known friends" (he ment like all kind of big investors and producers) and how they "pranked" him which kind of made him uncomfortable.
He was with few other actors on the show with Song yiren and the way he told about this incident was in kinda funny way, you know in light hearted manner but the clip went viral about how this could have been one of those parties.
For the people who are defending her We all know the concept of "innocent until proven guilty" but..but..but.......HOW IN THE THE WORLD IS SHE CONNECTED TO ALL THE SUSPECTS....like literally everyone close to her is somehow involved in this....we can believe that one person in the group might be wrong....two can be wrong.....but how the hell every fruit in the basket is rotten. Or is she just so unlucky to be involve?🤔 which I think is highly unlikely. She has been friends with literally a dude who is twice her age.....and thats not the real problem here....the problem is she was 12 and he was 30. And maybe, lets all assume for a second, in some parallel universe she might have nothing to do with the case, but you can't ignore the fact that she is not as pretends to be......IF YOU ALL REMEMBER DYLAN WANG STORY ABOUT HER PARTIES.
And for the people who are fighting a 'losing battle for her', she herself accepted the fact that she had been "kind of bully" in her school days. And for someone to even accept that in countries like China and Korean..... You all exactly know what it actually means.....

Jin zhao falling for mumu was understandable since he had always known that she is not related to him but mumu.........ahhhhhh🫣 Mumu character is kinda childlike naive kid who is always into flowers and sunshine more or less like Sang zhi's character.
But do you guys remember sang zhi, she did like Duan jiaxu at young age but her love was so much pure and innocent . Mumu character is made like sang zhi but she didn't give the vibe.
Unlike in novel, I hope their love story starts in her college days otherwise it would be quite awkward to watch a high schoolar being in love with her so called brother 🥲
