on epi 5 and still don't get it. Is there supposed to be a relationship between Shu Yi and Shi Yan? I'm confused because they've barely spoken so far. How long do I have to watch before something happens with the two of them? So far they are both boring characters. I am a huge fan of Dylan Wang and Bai Lu, but this is almost more than even I can take, talk about boring so far. Besides, the niece, grrrr, she's another one of those entitled brats that thinks all she has to do is talk baby talk with a whine and she will get her way, the only good thing so far is that Shi Yan doesn't let her get away with it. EDIT: Epi 8 and I'm trying, I really am, but OMG, this is boring. I'm assuming at some point these two boring people will come together, but at this point it sure doesn't look like it. I keep telling myself "you're not a quitter, keep at it, maybe it'll get interesting", but that sure looks unlikely.

I felt that way in the beginning about the cousin and a lot of the way through, the one redeeming point was once you hear her backstory and know what happened to her and the fact that her parents didn't get her any help sort of redeems her a little bit, but also that fact that she seems smarter when it comes to love than either of the lead characters, at least in my opinion.

that made me laugh so hard when he walked in and found his bed made with sailor moon, then to put his head down and be looking at them right in the face, so funny.

This is the 2nd time I've watched this, enough time as passed that I've forgotten a good share of what is going on, but one thing that never changes. Do any of these show have adults that are actually adults and don't allow their parents to control their lives? The Xia Chu's father has decided that Liang Mu Ze is not the person for her and insists that she move back home. The girl is in her 20's, she's a doctor, she's lived away for home for years and now because daddy is upset she's going to change her whole life to suit him? I'm sorry, Dad, but you led your life the way you wanted it, it's my turn, how about showing a little respect to your children. I'm so frustrated with this and it's not even real life. The sad part of this is that the girl with emotional problems and brain damage is smarter than both the leads when it comes to love.

she's one of those women that is just beggin for love no matter what she has to do for it. She knows that this guy is more interested in her friend, but will do everything she can to get him even cover up for him...sad and creepy.

felt the same way until they talked about her story, why she was the way she was and then I got it. She wasn't quite as obnoxious .

Someone please explain to me where did Feng all of a sudden have a baby with a life threatening disease? I don't even know who she is in the drama, where she came from or anything, unless she was the woman from the North who asked her baby be blessed while she was pregnant. I'm so confused, LOL. Honesty, I love Johnny so much I would watch him sell dog food, but I'm at epi 19 out of 25 and I'm still not sure where this is going. I love his two subordinates, they are charming and so good looking and fun, and like all cdramas, the mother is a pain in the butt. I was surprised she didn't throw the engagement gifts back at them since it was something "simple" that PiPi asked for. Mom is a greedy wench like so many of the other mothers in these shows. Now after reading through all the comments, I'm sure I'm going to hate the ending like so many people have and already regretting my determination to watch it all the way through to the very end. The ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend come back from America and the girl talks like it was all the guys fault, he cheated, he lied, he broke Pipi heart, did the girl forgot that she also cheated on her friend, she lied to her friend and she broke Pipi's heart. selfish girl, then she has dresses Pipi down about how she treated him when he was her boyfriend, so glad she wasn't a huge part of the show, she needed to be slapped.

Oh Geez!!! could they have written a more spineless female? I wanted to scream at her every time she called him Mr. Geez girl, you're getting nekked with him and you still call him Mr. Glad it was short because as much as I really didn't like it. I watched the whole thing because I hate giving up on things and I hoped that they would miraculously give this girl a spine or some maturity, either one.

I thought it was just me and this being my first Japanese drama. I had a hard time staying focused.

this is the first Japanese drama I've watched and to say I was slightly shocked is an understatement. Not only did they remove their clothing when they had sex, but they weren't dressed the next morning. I guess to figure out the relationship between the two females, I need to go back and watch because with the first viewing all I saw was toxic and makes me wonder how one woman (FL) could be so stupid to put up with the "friend" .

I didn't find any of the females in this drama likable.

Oh I am right there with you, I was thinking the same about the amnesia, I was actually happy that she was treating him better, that she reached out to him instead of the other guy, then to find out she only did because she thought he'd tried to kill her, I wanted her run over again. Believe me, I love spoilers, I don't care how much anyone spoils for me, I love them. I finally made it through all the epi and was glad to see that she finally came to him, but it wasn't enough, she should have suffered a little bit more for all she had put him through.

I'm on epi 16 and already I'm agreeing, she needs to suffer more. He did nothing but love her and help her and she's just kind of a witch.

I'm at epi 13 right now and with each epi I ask myself, do I really want to go forward with this. There is so much subterfuge in this show, is there anyone who doesn't have a hundred secrets. I want the FL to make some kind of decision, I want the SFL to stop being such a b, I want the FL's mother to go away somewhere and not return, just like the ML's mother did, she's so annoying, but so like so many of the other mothers on these shows, never asks the daughter what would make her happy, only see $ signs when it comes to her daughter. I've read so many of the posts on here and a good majority of them don't care for the show...I'm trying to decide whether I want to even finish, but then of course I want to know what's going to happen. EDIT: At epi 16 and OMG, I'm in love with the ML, he's pulled himself up from being a thug to a legit business man and he's in love with the girl, he deserves better than either of the females in this show. can't stand either of the women.

I just started watching, probably on epi 2 and I'm wondering if I should just drop it now from all the comments. The ML certainly is eye-candy, but is that enough to myself through this?

she's written this way in so many of this genre, or basically any that she's in. I just finished a contemporary drama with her and her character did the same thing. I wasn't until the last few shows that she actually showed she loved him.

me too, the more the better as far as I'm concerned...doesn't stop me from watching.

and then she loses all that money because she thinks she knows how to invest and who is going to pay for it, the daughter. I agree, if my mother ever did that, that would be the end.
