This plot is like "What", but honestly the strongest thing was all the actors and the characters chemistry. Though I understand the stake of the world meant many people die so hence a lot of people die for the realistic factor, actually why I am justifying this honestly. I am coping and clown for this ending.
For me everything is good. Just I wish they could give more power to Hu Zi he is just with his over confidence…
XD I really like Hu Zi journey to become strong and control his power, is very good pacing. I am only at episode 15, but the plot pace has really picked in 14 and 15 I felt, is very awesome!!!
imo, the fight scenes are really good tho. im just curious, why you say it could be better. can you site a drama…
You are definitely 100% correct. The fight scene didn't take away the enjoyment I had of this show, but it would have been 8.5 or 9/10 for me if it the fight scene were more fluid.

Some of the fight seem a bit off mostly bc. of cgi especially like the Demon Bee. I think is just budget thing honestly when usage of cgi, and sometime choreography . New show like Blood of Youth and Sword Snow Stride is pretty good when it come to fight scene. There is older show Nirvana in Fire season 1, and Condor Hero; in fact a lot of older show has fluidity I am looking for as you can guess, what I am looking for is fluidity, and less awkward movement when in the air...sorry if I am being too picky.
Oh my god, I finally found the name of this series. I watched this when I was in elementary school and it was my favorite. The plot was alright, but the two main lead were so beautiful and handsome. The fight scene on episode 11 with bamboo pole is my favorite!!!!! Actually I remember this show has a lot of good scene.
The plot isn't bad and many satisfying scene especially toward certain annoying characters. The only thing I wish was better was fight scene...though that my issue with most modern wuxia and xianxia show today.
Comedy show is very hard act, and all the casting staff has nailed it. I really enjoyed it the first episode. Is very refreshing for me. I love the gaming aspect of the show is add a little uniqueness for me.
I watched many sport animes and movies, and many times there will always be a villain in the story, this is all…
I actually tried to watch more after I made my first comment that is kinda cringe still, I made it to episode 4 and some clips. I still regardless stand by my words. I came to watch this drama mostly because marketed as a Esport drama, was hoping romance to be more subplot like. My expectation for this drama is different from you. The chemistry is still too early for me to tell, but I don't like the female lead that much. Her dedication to become professional Esport is so half-ass. I just think her character isn't for me. I am just going to drop it from here. Also, you can write anything negative, but promoting as something romantic is weird.
It was really good, but warehouse arc was bit too long honestly. The romance not necessary's for Wu Xie or Black Glasses part, but I think it made a big impact and character exploration for Pang Zi. Enjoyed first couple first half, not so much second half.
Personally I am not that into romance in a detective show, but since they upgrade her; I am glad they add more character development to her rather than being one dimension . Though I still hope the big focus is on detective stuff.
If I didn't have know much about Esport, then I might able to enjoy this series. This series doesn't respect Esport industry. I dropped early in 1 episode felt kinda cringe to me so I dropped, but from what I read there has been disrespectful to Faker(stoop him down to a level of a online bully) which is equivalent to insulting the entire Esport industry. Faker is legit an icon in the Esport culture. There was also scene female lead ex, saying he willing to throw a match legit just match fixing right there. Match-fixing or throwing is legit a taboo in any sport professional. This should not be used as a romance plot device. Esport is a sport, throwing is so disrespectful toward your opponent and your teammate. Also the reference to irl team is so rude...I know this is fictional, but there are drama can be written while respecting Esport such as King Avatar and Gank Your Heart. TLDR if you watch Tournament for any game or avid/casual esport watcher, don't watch it.
Shallow me, love Kylin and Xie, while being confused on the series due to chronological order. Since many people said is ok to just watch this as it provide flashback, currently retrying the series with Ultimate Note, and enjoying it so far. I have the whole series books that I been putting on hold for some reason, really need to start on it. Edit: Finished. This is one of the best show I have seen, is actually coherent.
Love this drama, is interesting to see all sect adapting to modern technology. Especially listening to music doing martial arts, Ling yu too cool. Hype for season 2, I want see more Grandmaster Tian Shi flexing with his red sneakers. At first I wasn't sure to watch it, because adapting anything that in animation form or manga form tend to be poor from my experience before. So I wasn't sure if I want this series try since it was from manhua and has a donghua, but I gave it a try. Totally worth it, I enjoy the comedy a lot.
Watched this because I keep getting Youtube short of Chu Kong cat demon and Chu Kong flashback (Cang hai). And for granted Youtube short didn't failed me, these two arc or lives, are the best, I fangirl at the moment I saw cat demon files his nails. At the beginning I didn't feel the chemistry but after Cang hai arc, Yang Chao really improved in her acting.
Edit: Finished. This is one of the best show I have seen, is actually coherent.
