I too have looked at a few of your links. Thank you! I like these dramas too, it’s a shame we can’t see them in their original format. I wanted to ask, Wang Bo is in a new drama where he has a drugged one night stand which ends up with him fathering four children without knowing. The children are brilliant and Wang Bo is just gorgeous with them. Do you happen to know its name? It’s on YT by JOWO-BlossomingDramaHub.

Hmm, you’re right it doesn’t say the 20 mill explicitly, but I took the sales contract that Oab gave Wan to be the original agreement he had agreed with all the contestants, ie. Buying the restaurant for 22 mill, which in the end Oab knew would go to Methas because he tells Wan to take the signed contract to him. Methas gives Wan his contract amount when he is crying in the office with the champagne scene. It’s not 100% clear though. You are totally right neither Wan or Oab would give a 20mill restaurant away and apart from anything else Oab has to pay for the surgery. I was also disappointed not to get a scene where Wan questions Oab about knowing the whole time with a better discussion ending in Wan’s apology. But overall I really enjoyed it. I loved the other couple as well, they should have their own series.

Ah that’s a shame. In many ways Mr Queen does this story line better and certainly the production is better. Although it is illogical in the sense of the time travel so not for everyone. It’s really funny though!

But when he returned to the future he read that they had a happy marriage in the past, maybe he didn’t have such a happy ending in the future but I thought it was more open ended.

You obviously haven’t watched the kdrama Mr Queen! (Probably my favourite drama of last year, my husband watched it too and loved it)

I. Think you missed a couple of plot points… oab was paid 20 million for the restaurant, he signed the sales contract with Methas. He paid for the operation and presumably used the rest to set up the new restaurant. Wan was paid the 2 million by Methas and decided to try to reopen the restaurant which is why they went back to visit Methas in his office to ask if Wan could rent it. The bit I agree with you though was why would Oab go back to the rented restaurant and what happened to his new restaurant? (Did he own it? He had earlier said he just wanted to be a chef when he was talking about going to France) I also agree that Auto’s reappearance could have done with an explanation. I think Wan becoming mainly a taste tester was probably sensible given that he had showcased a very high skill level in flavours right from the first episode., he also had the restaurant management role which suited him better too. 🥰
