Title Youth of May
Nice male lead is the best genre. The FL was also not typical and her character was quite unique. The kids were…
I found her character quite interesting, perhaps not lovable but one you can empathize with. She's constantly torn between her ideals and her family. Between what she knows is right and the people she loves and who protect her. Between comfort and freedom.

And later on , she's torn between the safety of that same family and the happiness of her friend. What would you have chosen ? Would you have sacrificed a friend for your dad ? for your brother ? Of course, her actions are full of impulse and immaturity. She doesn't foresee the consequences of her actions. Of course she's cowardly, and then foolishly brave. Of course she fails to empathize with the friend who isn't as privileged as she is. Of course she's self centered at times. But in the end, most young idealistic dumb people are like that

“ i just wanna push fl when she giggles or pouts” firstly misogyny the way you aren’t pointing out the male…
Thanks for your comment. I pondered long and hard whether my distaste for aegyo/'acting like a baby' was internalized misogyny or not. Maybe it is. However, I have come to realize that I also dislike it coming from a man ( looking at you 'A Korean Odyssey', and to a lesser extent 'My Demon' ). I don't think of that behavior as inherently feminine, just irritating.
Maybe I find it infantile ? In any case, it's my personal preference, the way some people prefer pizza over cake.
On an other note, can't I point out the fact I don't like something without mentioning the ones who are enabling it ? For instance, I don't like A picking their nose. Do I have to point out that B is standing there watching and smiling ? ( which, granted is weird )

Finally, I'm not faulting her ( a fictional character ). People express love in different ways, most are valid, but not all are liked.

I hope you have a nice, k-drama-filled day

I'm currently half way through and considering dropping it. I just can't stand the leads acting cute together. They have no chemistry at all and I just want to push the FL when she giggles or pouts. However, at the same time, I quite enjoy the time travel premise and the back and forth to a future he tries to avoid. Can someone tell me if I should keep watching ?

Title Hit the Spot
some questions please, is this have love triangle?and fl or ml have sex with someone else!? and is it happy ending!?…
- No love triangle that I can think of
- They don't step out on each other, but the 2FL has a string of flings
- It's a happy ending, albeit a shoehorned one
- The romance is romancing ( at least for me ), it's cute, funny and hot. But I'd say it's not really the main course of this drama. It's much more about girls taking charge of their romantic (and sexual ) lives than it is about" boy meets girl"

Well, there might be other instances but I remember that by ep 32 his actions are more than questionable ( irl, I would have called the cops, but in the drama, I'm eating that shit up )

"Mature" is a fancy word people use to excuse their sinful, guilty pleasures. We could call eating a whole pizza…
Pizza and vibrators for all !!! yay

Finally a sex-positive, joy-inducing exhilarating drama. This is so fresh and left me wanting more ( but it could have used more realism... Halas, it's hard to be a realistic romcom )

Shitty show plus Jisoo acting is mid. Only got cast as the FL since she is a kpop idol while actual talented actress…
She did a somewhat good job, imo. But, she was completely and utterly outshined by the likes of Yoon Se Ah and Kim Hye Yoon

If you came here expecting a 'Youth of May', you won't find it here. No heartthrob, no ordinary people trying to survive troubled times.
To enjoy this, you have to forget the period setting, the people that died under the boots of soldiers and only focus on the spy action and plot twists. And even then, it's only soso

I had a lot of fun with this, but how on earth is Naksu a green flag ? For Christ's sake, she is trying to kill him for most of the show. Also, she lies. A LOT. Boys, even if the girl is pretty, if she tries to assassinate you with a shrimp, RUN

Title Meow, the Secret Boy Spoiler
It was nice to watch.I think that ending could be better, I have some ideas:SPOILERS, GO TO THE LAST SENTENCE1)…
I completely agree with you. That last scene where Hong Jo transforms into a human once again was totally superfluous and imo it lessened the impact of the whole show. As you said, not every beautiful story is a happy ending.

They could have ended the drama with Sol Ah being successful author that spends her happy moments with her cat

Supernatural meets greek tragedy in the realm of Korean folklore. Just what my kdrama-addict ass needed ;)
And can we also appreciate the experimental cameraman that seemingly fell in love with close ups of bloody hands and reed fields

Title Kakafukaka
adults who need PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT?apology for rape?Look at the series with a social eye, these young adults…
Exactly. I really don't understand the portrayal of sex and/or rape in this drama. It was totally unnecessary. Why did they write the men so rapey, manipulative and abusive and the women so passive ? ( not trying to victime blame, but the whole, "he assaults me but I love him" gave me the creeps.

Especially since the rape had 0 effect on the plot. They could have written a clumsy, a bit shameful first experience in Highschool which would have lead to her ghosting him/not communicating, absolutely no need for him jumping her.
Then, upon reuniting, they could have fixed his "problem" with steamy, hot consensual sex ( and not with a session of "endure it while I take my pleasure with my undoubtedly small peepee "). The bite could have been a hickey...

I'm wondering if it's a cultural difference though. I've seen rape been romanticized in Japanese media a few times. Do you think it's possible or am I just wayyyy off base ? ( I don't have a lot of knowledge on the subject )

isn't it a good thing there is no romance in here , the body may be of high schooler but the soul is of a grown…
I kinda agree with you on that one. Age gap always gives me the ick. But we have seen many equally creepy straight romances ( looking at you "Goblin" and to a lesser extent "My Roommate is a Gumiho" )
