Had potential but bad execution
At the beginning the plot seemed interesting, like a bit of intrigue and clues to put together. it was very cliche that the FL had amnesia or at least was faking it but still kept on watching.
The plot of the uncle and ML started becoming a bit boring at some point, like they were always one step ahead and always knew what the other would do and so on but gladly he wasn’t the main villain.
Now, for the real villain even though it would have been a good plot twist, it suddenly left many open questions in general and why he started not caring anymore and being completely open about being evil as soon as the uncle was caught.
I also hated that the FL even though she appeared strong and smart at the beginning, was reduced to just being a side character and not doing anything useful. Also breaking up with the ML just because Minghao told him her sister was in danger? Like really? She was supposed to be smart and cunning if she didn’t want to break up and love Li Zeliang she could have come up with a strategy with him and together take him down.
And lastly, what they did with Shi ChuChu. Another female character they ruined. She is supposed to be a smart and capable business woman, then suddenly was reduced to nothing and played like a fool by Minghao all because she was heartbroken… Then almost at the end after someone with no proof more than just words, tells her “Hey Xieyi really doesn’t want to take revenge” suddenly became 100% trusting and finally decided Li Zeliang was right and Minghao was evil.
Again, I was about to drop it several times but only kept going because I really hate abandoning series … and always have hope they “fix” it a bit with the ending.
Anyway, definitely wouldn’t watch again ever.
The soundtrack was nice and the acting was good, even though the poor actors had to follow a very bad executed plot, those two things it’s what keep me from not giving it a 5/10
