"this isn't a romance story" Guardian is marketed as a romance drama. The main plot focus is the fact…
You have seen 1 episode which is one of the only dark episodes of the drama. Had you seen more episodes, you would have understood that Goblin is mostly centered around comedy and bromance. As for her not having a choice...lol! That's SOO UNTRUE. She has the choice (twice) to live her life normally without any of the abilities...like most people and she rejected it TWICE and worked against GOD and nature to remember him and have him back (once in her mid/late twenties and another time in her 30s) .
Lastly, instead of wishing for a normal life and death...she chooses to not forget her life and become supernatural creature herself...even after death, she chooses him. Like, let go of him after death?? Get a new life? But she said NO!
While I don't condone romance with a high schooler...that's not what goblin is about. Its far more complicated than that.
If anything, the main romantic couple of the drama is THE SECOND COUPLE.
I have given every spoiler here because it doesn't matter. You don't like the drama
I'm on EP 3 and the top is insane for molesting that bottom, never forgiving him for that ( I don't know their…
This is common for BL dramas coming out of China...I just wanted to check if this also has several assault romaticising themes and Yuuup! Its true. Over the course of time, you willsee several people defending ir and writing full paragraphs to somehow defend it. It is because of them that these nasty writers (mostly females who fetishize gays) and producers sitting in china keep churning out one assault story after another. In this echo chamber, nobody is gonna tell you this...but chinese BLs are infamous for having GRAPE SUBCULTURE AND RABID FANS. Also, if you see these drama reviews on mdl...its mostly the same group of people...circlejerk. Your name engraved herein was the LAST GOOD mainstream drama in mandarin. Probably because it WASN'T A BL...but fell in the category of queer content
Hard disagree. Clichés? The dramas AFTER this were cliché. This was the standard. Most fantasies are a copy of this. The first episode was my favorite as someone who loves the original folk religions ans cultures of Asia. The performance of the child actor still gives me chills.
Secondly, this isn't a romance story. Its about Goblin! If anything, its about friendship and bromance.
The romance becomes the focus only when she's in her mid twenties and finally takes off when she's in her 30s. All three times, she chooses him and its not the other way round.
They probably want to marry earlier but its the societal pressure of being seen as "available" for the…
China is doing a lot to counter this...but their most delulu fans come from BL cults. My gosh...they're another level of psychotic. A lot of them straight up promote $*xual A$$ault culture and find ways to defend crimes. The writers (mostly female who fetishize gays) should be banned for romaticising assault....and while it happens in non bl dramas as well, those dramas are altered completely when they are aired to make sure that the content is not animalistic...that ain't the case with BLs...straight up psychos romanticised!
SML, my man, you had one job here, one! And you blew it! 😂And I don't appreciate him starting to appreciate…
No...I get him . Its not that easy for a man with a child especially when he is indebted to his mother. Pursuing her wuld offend the mother... besides, at some point, she WAS DATING.
I tried really, really, hard but I just can't finish this for some reason. I get sleepy mid-episode so many times.…
I actually completed this in a full 2 weeks .... i would watch one or two eps ...and tell myself that this was made when attention span of people wasn't corrupted....so i need to be patient. By the end, i ended up liking it more than the OG ten miles of peach blossom. ...watched it years ago and look, i am back again.

They also have their weird fans... delulu drama shippers is its own genre. There's so many weirdos who can't separate real or reel and want certain couples together. Agencies also use this wish to their advantage and feed their delulu to promote the celebrity or the drama. That's why business become a bit complicated and celebs wait to make things official. I know people who hate a certain person ans tell the actor that "he/she would have been happier with X person" because they saw their drama. ...
Congrats to her..ngl korean celebs marry only when they are either ready or already about to become parents..nothing…
They probably want to marry earlier but its the societal pressure of being seen as "available" for the fans..which is embarrassingly weird. Delulu fan culture. Have seen enough korean fans who use the word "protect" in reference to their idols. They really think they are protecting something.
How she acted with her sis in the phone so calm!??, she should have been so mad with her bc her mother almost…
She probably fears that she will also lose her sister...considering she's on the run but she did get mad and i think she has more anger inside of her...she hasn't gotten an opportunity to process all of it
Some people are talking about the female not acknowledging the man's emotions and pain....WELL, THAT'S DELIBERATE! Asia is known for brutal competitive exams. The people who prepare for them in late twenties. Lose self esteem (lack of financial independence). 1) They become emotionally distant because its difficult to socialise in competitive societies while being unemployed. You're considered an embarrassment. They lock themselves up and live like hermits. 2) These people often ignore their own emotions and they keep waiting to live when they qualify the exam. She didn't react to her sister sending her away even though she was hurt. 3) Love...is like luxury to them. To love someone else, you need to love yourself first and with their self esteem in the gutter, they can't allow attachment (especially when they have been hurt once).
On top of all this...she has to take care of her mom so, that woman is WRONG..she's wrong for ignoring his emotions but you can still empathise with her (especially if you have experienced asia's competitive exams yourself).
Lastly, instead of wishing for a normal life and death...she chooses to not forget her life and become supernatural creature herself...even after death, she chooses him. Like, let go of him after death?? Get a new life? But she said NO!
