I’m in the US and I started watching Kdramas because I was tired of US content. I watched content from many…
I can totally relate to that. I have always avoided watching American romances and I only watch american thrillers and sci fi. There was a reason for watching kdramas... it has soul and that uniqueness is lost now.

I can't be the only one who just...isn't into kdramas that much anymore. I mean...Its once in a blue moon thing. Idk what happened. They probably started catering to Western Market...BIGGEST MISTAKE. They used to be so creative before

These lists are actually funny. If this was real, Lee Jung Eun would be in top 5 at least
Interestingly, the list is more believable backwards. Lol!

How come the rating is reducing?
That happens...we watched it whe ot was airing and we made it a hit. Later on, people who come because of the hype ...habe different expectations and rate it low. At thag time, even the discussions in this thread used to be quite deep

Ya'll...please...Guardians of Dafeng and Reset aren't even here. OMG! And freakin...a good day to be a dog or something is here in middle of the list. I am beyond shocked how many amazing dramas didn't even make this list.

I've been reading through the comments, and everyone seems to have good things to say about this. So why is it…
The thing about chinese xianxia and wuxia is...they are better than 90% dramas you have watched...when you start em but because they are sooo long and have filler episodes, the ratings and sometimes low.
This drama should have been shorter

It's actually very good. But then, I enjoy mysteries. I think most people are just looking for romance.
Detective genre is my fav...thanks for the recommendation. I am gonna start it.

Good because I need a break from romance. I think it will be perfect for me. Besides, the genre says THRILLER HISTORICAL MYSTERY ...So, its kind of their fault for expecting romance

Review Revenged Love
They are using the excuse that "these are not green flags...this is a red flag drama" and "you're…
There's actually no point because their logic is "you can't point out the abuse or call a rapist a rapist because you are used to watching straight drama". Absolutely Juvenile logic because besides rape culture BLs like these, there a lot of non mainstream queer content/queer movies that people watch outside of mainstream mdl ones. Extended exposure to rape romanticisation makes people think , "hey...this is normal in my bubble. People call it love. Why are these weirdos calling it rape...they must hate all gay people" which is hilarious and sad at the same time. It is also A COPING MECHANISM because if you brand any rational criticism of abuse on men as "attack by homophobe" ...maybe you get to feel better about supporting writers like that. Deep inside, they know its pure fetishization
