Exactly! I don't know why they try to portrait that grandma as loving. In a book she is acting the same as here, but nobody mention her love to JL. She is just a matriarch who only care about family pride.
I really hope they wouldn't try to make XFF feel guilt towards grandma.

He is calling her A-Li because of XFF nickname, not because of familiarity. It's small and important detail and I really like that they did it the same as in the book.

I think the true love triangle now is between Shen Yurong Jiang Li and Duke Su. Those flashbacks are showing us how much she loved her husband. It wouldn't be easy for her to love another man and she isn't completely over her husband yet(at emotional level).

I like such unrestrained characters, especially when they are doing evil things while smiling. Not throw tantrums over the smallest things.
Apparently Princess will met a lot of misfortunes lately, so I really hope they'll do a good job to show her madness and would not make her in another cliche.

I'm in love with Princess character! One of the most satisfying villains so far. I mean every other one have an agenda and behaviour pattern and she is just having fun:) That way you can't predict what she'll do next.
