I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching…
Should I be right because other people say so? Or are you right because you say you are right? ... You know that only kids say “grow up” these days, right? 🤣
For someone who wants me to be specific, your take is very general and ungraspable. So, based on your opinion, what is it that the industry actually considers successful...?
Since you are the only “everyone” I see reacting to my comments, I have a great suggestion for you: maybe don't read what I say and don't react to it, since it is “ruining your good time”? As opposed to telling other people what to/not to do, wouldn't that solve the whole issue? 🤣
But if you read my comments and, on top of that, waste your time responding and spoiling your mood further, I will give you a key to reading this, okay? Based on the data I have gathered from previous years, this is my subjective opinion, with which I reacted to someone's comment here. Most people these days don't make a drama out of a comment like this. If you feel the urge to do so (and make yourself childish in that direction), by all means, serve yourself — but don't complain about your fun being spoiled afterwards.
“Like the person above said, it honestly seems like you came here just to spread hate because you don’t like the actors.”
Another stupid, generalised child's opinion that is so flat, empty, overused, and abused, and says more about the people who use it than about anyone else they throw it at that I have exactly nothing to say to that.
“You seem to believe that a show is bad simply because it doesn’t meet your personal standards or fit your tastes,”
False. There are many audiovisual projects that don't meet my personal standards or fit my tastes, and I don't think they are bad simply because of that.
“and because it doesn’t reach the ratings you consider successful, you automatically view it as a failure and therefore a bad show.”
Now I wonder why I am responding to you if you don't read what I said before and, just because you are mad and probably a fan, grasp at any straw in some simpleton's writing just to win an argument that exists only in your head, and then try to awkwardly use it against your target. I hoped you were above that when it came to arguments; I see I was wrong.
We have nothing to say to each other, then. Have a good day.
I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching…
I would say it is absolutely enough to be really good people, and I would say there is nothing wrong with working on good acting, working hard, and always being positive. It makes you a better person. But being a better person, having a fan base, and making good projects are three different things, three different games, and they are played by three different sets of rules.
I honestly don't know in what context Nat asked that. If it was in a self-doubt mode, or if he was fishing for points he can work on and improve, or if it was brought on by depression over their results. Many times, the only problem is a mismatch between what we want to work on and are ready to do something about and what it actually takes to get the results we want — again, it might be two very different things.
Sometimes, it budges itself, but many times, if only for us to do something with the time, it takes trying to do something differently, even if we get back to our old ways later, because, in the end, you cannot step into the same river twice.
"So I see many comments asking them to do more live and fanservice because that's what sells nowadays..." — interesting. People try to recommend what they see and therefore think is working, but they mostly don't know the BTS of how/why it is working. And so yes, they can try, but I would take it as one of many things they could try, and I would not rely on it as on a guaranteed success plan.
And yes, I think MaxNat are the DMD couple that bears the worst consequences of pushing only ZNN in the past, especially considering that they have roughly the same number of active years in acting.
MaxNat kissing... OK. :D They are a strange middle ground — it is not as annoying and plastic as all of the dead-fish kisses, while at the same time, the points you highlighted are valid. Again, that is absolutely something they can work on and be creative with, and there, as actors, they might suggest a change or whoever the trainer/choreographer working with them is could help them with it.
I have zero interest in pushing them to upgrade this particular thing, though, BUT FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, MAKE A PROPER PLOT AND ACTING SERIES FOR ONCE! (Then we can discuss intimacy. But ideally, upgrade both hand in hand.)
I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching…
I was honestly waiting through your whole message to see if you were going to pinpoint the things you disagree with me about. 😂 But okay, let’s say I wouldn’t necessarily have an issue with projects that I personally see as failures or that just weren’t digestible for me. I would still expect them to have at least some good projects, though.
At this point, I don’t even expect them to shine in some blockbuster, huge-budget project or anything like that. I just expect them to get decent projects. Like, why can they take supporting roles and guest roles in decent projects, but they can’t choose a decent project for them to be the main leads in? That makes absolutely no sense to me.
I also want to add that as long as there is a good project for them, they could even be the second main couple and I honestly wouldn’t care. Really, I don’t care. I just want to see them actually acting in the old-fashioned sense of the word. I want to see their range, and I want the project to have some actual impact. If that happens, they’re not going to lose me as an audience member. I’ll still watch them.
But the two previous projects were so freaking bad. And I don’t think you’re (general you, not you specifically) doing them any favors by protecting them from criticism, because honestly, that’s a huge disservice to them. They should know that they need to choose different types of projects. They should know they can do better than this. They should know that they need to do something about it, if they can. Because if they can’t, then again, the fault still falls on the shoulders of everyone around them. And that’s freaking bad.
And since even ZeeNuNew fans can’t shut up about how badly the company treats them—I don’t know if they talk about it publicly, but I do know they complain about it behind the scenes all the time, including Aof—then we can only imagine how bad things might be for the other actors.
I know that the younger generation has gotten greater opportunities over the last year or two, and their projects seem to have landed way better. I haven’t really followed them because they’re too young for me, so I might have only seen some small fragments of what they’ve done (and sometimes it looks more promising on surface than it is when you cut into it). But what matters to me is that some of the projects have gotten really good ratings and seem to be doing well.
With the first and second generations of Domundi, though, it was just bad for such a long time. So I would really love to see them invest not only in the youngest generation and ZeeNuNew, but also in their other actors, because they have some genuinely good actors. They’re just not giving them enough opportunities to actually act, you know?
I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching…
...? That is difficult to do when people who don't read properly just project their worst selves onto others, jump to conclusions, and then go through life miserable, trying to stand up for people they don't even know in real life—people who don't know them and most certainly don't care what they do in some MDL comment section.
And just because you don't classify something as an opinion doesn't mean it isn't one. Or, you know what—you were actually right about one thing: it was a a summarized review, not an opinion. Thank you for pointing that out.
So yes, I was respectful. But respectful does not mean untouchable, despite the trendy belief that seems to be spreading like a disease these days. I could have pointed out exactly where I thought they failed as "actors" and phrased it in a genuinely nasty way. Did I do that? No? Good luck finding such references.
Speaking of limits: if I don't like someone's comment, I don't even bother responding to it. And if I have to respond, I always try to remain respectful. But it's crystal clear that you came here simply to write a hate comment yourself.
So maybe before lecturing other people about respect, try actually reading what they wrote first, NELL. 😘
I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching…
...hah, if I don't like a person's comment, I don't even bother to write anything about it. If I HAVE TO, I always try to be respectful but it's crystal clear you just come here, in the comment section, to write hate comments. ...plus you are misreading something, plastering over your brain what i've never written. I cannot like or dislike it, i never saw anything out of this series, on the contraty, i came in hopes someone or something will give me the a reason to at least try it again, despite the crowds of failures i had to dig through after seeing probably one or two good series and acting performances with these two that made me believe they can do good, but alas, i leave annoyed with people who even cannot bother to try to read, and with plenty of reasonsn to not bother to try to watch and close this chapter for good.
I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching…
I just love them both, especially Nat. And that is all that matters. - That is fair. I love them both too, that is why it matters to me. Other ppl say anythin not 9 they would not watch, as it must be bad, and they say it with 8.2 series. Slowly, category of 8.0 starts to shift to the not the best caregory even if it was not like it before (last year? 3 years ago?). There are exceptions - show might be brilliant but there is a toxic trait and it immediatelly turns 7.6 many times. That is why i said i saw their projects so it is not any "misleading mdl rading" pushed by antifans. And to be very specific I consider flops these series the most, where they are not guest appearances: Naughty Babe (2023) - i really hoped they will work on this, creators, and they did not. Two Worlds (2024) - i was so excited with the trailer, where did that go? Suntiny (2025) - which is a complete disaster, rating did not decided that, but confirmed. It is absolutelly unwatchable. Was it necessary to have that as a "decided" series to do? and what is worse - was it necesary to shot it like this? Again, in Payback, not romcom, Max proved if pushed to serious charavcter he can play... makes these projects even sadder really.

I fell in love with MaxNat in Cutie Pie and Naughty Baby. But I have been struggling to stay engaged because I…
I have the same issue. I blame the companies. They don't give this couple proper projects. I haven't started watching in fear after all of their prev. failures. I dont know if i will. I love them as actors, not as puppets for weirdest type of projects randomly chosen, not even properly plotted. I've seen them acting before. I hope they will get back to that again. (And yes-no, if i find it stupid and not funny at all, not silly and light, i am not gonna enjoy it. I think darker tone suits them much more yet some idiots push them into stupid romcoms.)
What really pays off is having a mob boss as a friend
🤣🤣🤣 did not, but made us curious and wanting more... well... bcg fairytale for good night sleep - and I do believe it is intentional and I do believe they have plans with it, no way they don't otherwise it would not be mentioned like five times by this point and the friend character would look like this way and the Mysterious other guy would not be so... tempting to see😈😈😈 Ok I make it koncert Way need to have the second season or The Spin of or Water of this
