Its probably to stop him and then try to do what he does at then end of ep 8, if you remember. He always wanted…
Also... i would say most of it is Ollies charm, he truly cries lovely, which is my second time this year, i can't say anything nice about any other crying in dramas in the past 5 years (it is not that difficult, just please, connect it to what is going on, nuance it and tone it down 5 volumes to what you imagine and it is gona turn billiant, i promise. But no, instead we have here all the ugly cries (which would be still, fine of not...) for all of the bad reasons.

no, in this case getting obsessed is not an excuse, as despite that he is a licensed doctor/therapist and he know how much power he has over GZ without the flagging and nonsense and raping and what not - that is abuse of power, not a therapy-case. which means kicking him out of this field is first and second never let him work with people. punishment too, monetary or puting him into prison. and then dealing with his own traumas too, of course. No-contact order probably, for at least as long as is in America (2 years). And if you can make that, then it is still not ok for you to stay together, but by all means, you have overcome enough obstacles. Go ahead and try. Yes, absolutelly agree " its more realistic for Gao to hate zou yun since he's the one who gave him all that trauma". ...i mean i think that is kina asian archetype where the "detachement" gets even further to the point and level the rest of the world (i hope) would never get why they want each other or get tgt. And don!t get me wrong there, please, i am not all for fluffy likable characters (at least not at all costs), in fact i am very much into cold and obsessed and obsessive and detached types. But... he still needs redeeming qualities and my to understand and see logic in why he is the way he is. Like if you are just sic psycho and abuse my vulnerabilities, go fuck yourself and never retur back, lots of love in heaven and hate in hell, xoxo. And I dare you to not be able to help me when i need you, if not - rot. ...dot. 🥹🥰

fuck, that is a lot to take... so basically he is a saint in the live action, while he is anything but in the novel - he broke every promise we saw in the live action... what i do not get is - he lives with Zou yun despite that, sleeps with him? why? and why he gets back to the doctor then? is all of that some sort of self punishment? - i dont know how it is written in the novel, so i cant speak for that, i do undertand what was meant by it in the series, however in everything the fictional doctor does, it is... red flag unacceptable, unthinkable approach, noone sane would dare to use even if they wanted to, it is human he has fallen in love with GZ, but there it ends. no green flag, nothing thinkable goes from that road even in the watered LA version, and even thinking the car scene is somethink that comes to his mind is such a no go zone, noone would think this "attach me to your rapist" is a good idea, let alone a doctor? no, just no... i love it, but as a fictional world, not as an realistic example of practice

yes, i want to. i think the la was very smoothly done, but i felt sorry that it jumped to the end immediatelly and like this, i felt it is a lot of like... left off, like they skipped the good parts from original material :( so spoil me, please

huh? as in descriptive detailed noncon/rape scenes? or manipulation or something else? From what you know dyt the novel or the live action is better? Ty for your parience and explanations 🙏🙏🙏

hmmm, hmmm, i still feel there ambiguity, but again, ur probably right, tybm for your insight! so - u have read the original material (novel?), correct?
Another Q (2): So, at the beginning we saw Gao Zhu and Zou Yun make / (ZZ/We Rong record) some explicit scenes…
awww, tyvm, i also lean toward it being hinted mostly in flashbacks - about interest and fragments where it had the potential to turn into love, and i think you are very correct about the snow scene, it was not the only but it was the most firm/significant, tyvm!
Another Q (2): So, at the beginning we saw Gao Zhu and Zou Yun make / (ZZ/We Rong record) some explicit scenes…
Q (3): Thle last one was really abt ZX and some unclarity. We do know when he first noticed ZZ, but... when he fallen in love with him? Was it that moment, was it before he chosen him for the role?
ok, several questions unanswered/unclear - what was that sentence of Justin about stopping him? From what? Or…
Another Q (2): So, at the beginning we saw Gao Zhu and Zou Yun make / (ZZ/We Rong record) some explicit scenes (the table scene namely, but not only) - when I was not watching consistently I thought it might be some sort of distortion of that rape scene nad GZ imagined in a nightmare, but watching it from chapter A to Z, and knowing now they were in the same appartment, it more looks to me they, once starting living together, had sex together too (when GZ and FCh split) - anyone can tell how it was really? (Because, on the other hand, when watching consistently their apartment scenes, it more looked like two roommaktes where one drugs the other - but only to sleep.) So IDK what to think about it...?
ok, several questions unanswered/unclear - what was that sentence of Justin about stopping him? From what? Or was it vague translation? If so, what did it referred to? TY.
Is it good series? Looking for the new one to watch
Hi there! I would say it’s lower in production quality, and the first couple of minutes might be slightly off-putting because of that. I constantly felt during the first episode like we were fast-forwarding through everything whenever the mains weren’t on screen — it was kinda blurry, the singing was off-sync when the main was on stage singing something, and they spend so much time on him singing there while obviously playing something else over whatever is actually happening on stage. And I still don’t know whether they’re suggesting that *is* what’s happening on stage, they just don’t give a damn, it’s an artistic choice, the actor doesn’t sing, or whatever is going on. 😂
But once you come to terms with the fact that **NONE OF THIS ACTUALLY MATTERS**, you’ll love it. 😂
Also, a bit of background info about what was going on really helped me stick with it until the good parts came — like, the blue lips aren’t just a fancy visual thing; there’s actually an understandable misunderstanding behind them, etc. Basically, wait until the mains actually come together and act, and wait for the first “comic scene” — only then decide whether you like it or not. (Spoiler, i do, very much, also find their reactions very... authentic. Like you would cringe if watching yourself kissing someone in a mirror (unless you are into watching yourself in a mirror) - so seeing such a reaction unfiltered is in my vocabulary something i would still expect to see more frequently then i do - but that made me like them more really.)
I don't know who are looking at buildings, roads, and other unnecessary things in this series, me am in love with…
i mean they dont overdo it, i kinda like it as addition to the storytelling, i would say, self reflectivelly, here it is proportional (not too long, not too short) - so then i do look at it, to have an idea what environment we are in
