Yes it is stalking. The ML himself addressed to himself as stalker and the detective friend asked the FL if she…
Idk what's hard to understand. It is a SUPERNATURAL DRAMA. Supernatural means "events, forces or powers that cannot be explained by the laws of science". You want him to publicize about her? Would she able to lead a remotely normal life after that? She'd had been locked up like an animal in zoo and would have become a public attraction. Firstly, she had already taken precaution by isolating herself. Secondly, ML was trying to find the cure (rules) that'll stop others from getting hurt. Is that not how a disease/infection is handled?! And its not a normal/real-world disease that spreads from person-to-person. Its is affected only from one particular person. Did anyone apart from him get hurt once he started stalking her? No one. Cz if sm1 had approached her, he would have surely intervened and prevented them from getting hurt. How is it even his fault if someone does get hurt bcz of her? Again, let me remind, we are considering it as a disease to compare it with real life when infact in the drama it is a curse (supernatural) that is beyond the control of any human being. They can't even cure it/make an antidote to un-witch her somehow. (Also u want her to get locked up for affecting only the guys who like her & came in contact with her? There are rules and conditions of who it will affect which needs to be found out first to any future action where as a real-life disease would not care about the gender/whether that person likes the infected or not. It will spread to anyone who comes in contact with the infected. Again proving why the scenario can't be compared with real-life)
Anyways the rest of the points are more ridiculous that I won't even get into it. There's no use debating this with someone who is adamant to prove themselves as correct (The fact that u just ignored that your original examples didn't make sense at all)
Yes it is stalking. The ML himself addressed to himself as stalker and the detective friend asked the FL if she…
Lol the whole premise is that people who like her end up getting hurt and u are asking why does it matter if they hurt or not?
1. You don't mention anywhere in the original comment that sasaengs might think they are helping their bias which isn't even factual cz sasaengs are obsessive fans who stalk their biases to find out about their private lives. Its completely selfish behavior as they think they have a right to it being a fan hence, they are not thinking of helping anyone but themselves.
2. So I reread that and your example is saying that a scientist follows someone who isn't already infected but might get infected? Stalking would be the secondary issue in that case cz the first crime is that he is putting the health of a person is danger by letting/exposing them to the infection instead of finding precautions. Or is he not exposing that person to infection and just following around a random person and waiting to see if they might get infected a virus? lol. If he has exposed them for infection then he doesn't need to follow them around cz once they get infected they will be able to tell the affects once the implications are visible(cough, sneeze, etc) otherwise if the symptoms are not visible then they'll obviously need physical contact (blood sample, etc). But if u are saying that the scientist is following a person just to see how the virus is transmitting then that is stupid cz we already know how infectious diseases get transmitted. Only difference is some transmit at faster rate than others. If the scientist is trying to find the rate at which its spreading - again the first crime will be exposing the people to the infection. This example doesn't make sense. A better example would be following an infected person and finding how they are infecting others (which I thought u said in the first place and commented according to that, hence the blood test, as it aligns with the drama as well cz the FL is in a way infecting/affecting others)
3. The ML doesn't try to find out why she became a witch because that is not important. Let's suppose he finds out why she became a witch, what is he going to do with that info? Prevent others from becoming a witch? By finding out the rules for the curse he is helping the FL in preventing others (and himself) from getting hurt.
4. Again a real life scenario can't compare at all as a person is not going to get hurt/die if they approach a person they like. He had already planned to give her the original report face-to-face but couldn't as she left town but after that he found out she is actually a witch so he didn't approach her. Nor face-to-face nor through the friend cz he didn't know why and how the people around her are getting hurt (rules). He found out the basis of the rules once he started doing the research. Prevention is better than cure (which ur scientist doesn't seem to know lol, sorry).
Hence, stalking is a crime that should not be justified/ romanticized in real life but it makes sense in the storyline of this drama. And again a supernatural drama should not be compared to real life.
Didn't answer to many of your other points cz its already too long, and these 4 seemed the most important to me.
You're rushing to conclusions based on posts and rumors accusing him. Bring me evidence that he really did this…
How did he prove he dated her when she was 19? There are many images of them together when she was a minor to refute that. And why did he lie twice before accepting he dated her?
Lee Dongjin kept putting his life in danger to solve the rules and people here are complaining about stalking lol. Its a supernatural drama guys. No one is romanticizing anything. No one in real life is just going to die/get hurt by approaching the person they like. He did not have any other way. Anyone who compares it with real life are just foolish. It is a supernatural story so it should be treated as one.
You're rushing to conclusions based on posts and rumors accusing him. Bring me evidence that he really did this…
So you don't have an answer lol. Its ok. I didn't even expect one. Hope u get out of your delusions soon. Please focus this energy on your personal life rather than defending a criminal.
Honestly, I feel it is worth watching. cannot share any similar stories cz there are none, and that's honestly…
But that's the point though right. He couldn't have approached her without getting hurt. Did you watch the drama? The amount of times he got hurt being in her vicinity *smh*.
And especially that makes this drama unique. All other fantasy/mystery dramas pairs up the main leads to solve a problem and hence they fall in love(Ex: Goblin, while you were sleeping, the master's sun, let's fight ghost, doom at your service, and so many more that I can keep going on). In almost all dramas the main leads get together that way. In this, he fell in love first and was solving the problem himself to actually be with her.
You're rushing to conclusions based on posts and rumors accusing him. Bring me evidence that he really did this…
Its not a perspective. Its not an artform that you can have different opinions on. The fact that you think like that in the first place in itself proves you are not looking at the situation without bias. And idk what one piece of evidence you are talking about. You want the victim to wake up from the dead and say it on camera? Her diary isn't enough? Or u want KSH himself to confess? cz that'll never happen seeing how much he has already lied.
You're rushing to conclusions based on posts and rumors accusing him. Bring me evidence that he really did this…
I feel pity for you that you blindly trust someone who doesn't even know you. Nor do u know him except what he presents to u. There is ample of evidence - photos, text messages, love letters, etc. Please open your eyes. The fact that he lied denying the dating rumors twice and accepting it later is evidence in itself. The law isn't going to get involved unless the victim files a report and fyi if u are not aware, the victim is dead (ON HIS birthday and he didn't even mention/ acknowledge it, let alone go to her funeral - a girl he know for 15+ years and dated) Please wake up.
For those of you who keep insisting that the ML is not a stalker:Stalking is, at its basic level when you follow…
Yes it is stalking. The ML himself addressed to himself as stalker and the detective friend asked the FL if she wants to report him and get him arrested. But this drama cannot be compared to real life as a person is not going to get hurt/die if they approach a person they like. This already cancels the sasaengs example. The 2nd example of a scientist studying affects of a virus also cancels out bcz firstly they'll definitely need a blood sample for investigation which they can easily get with proper protective gear(masks, gloves, coveralls, etc). So a doctor/scientist not approaching an infected bcz of a virus doesn't make sense in the first place at all. They won't learn anything by just following the victim around cz they'll need the infected's body for study.
I'm not defending stalking - just to be clear. I am just saying why the stalking was valid only in the scenario of this drama's storyline and anyone who compares it with real life are just foolish. It is a supernatural story so everyone should treat it as one.
Since the drama has ended - I want to start binging/watching it. But the summary in MDL and ratings are a little…
Honestly, I feel it is worth watching. cannot share any similar stories cz there are none, and that's honestly the biggest appeal. It is the most unique love story. The ML cannot approach the FL cz the guys who like her end up getting hurt or die so he is secretly investigating the accidents around her (literally stalking her lol) to find a solution to be with her. I think the ratings are bad bcz of the stalking thing, the pacing being slow and repeating scenes. But its not bad as some people are over-exaggerating. He has no other way than to stalk her to find out about her curse and it is being addressed properly in the drama, you can just increase the speed if u find it slow but I personally found it quite calm and peaceful and the repeating stuff add some extra points/scenes to the story. But if u are looking for romance, this is not for u as there is almost no interaction between the main leads.
I hope people are not going to watch this. I feel bad for the rest of the cast and team but people need to learn the consequences of their actions. The team/Disney should have cancelled this already! Idk what they are thinking!
But Dongjin couldn't have known about that place unless Eunsil has told him about it...?
Bro stalking is not supposed to be an ability lol (unless one is a detective or something) + where she wants to go has nothing to do with solving the rules for her curse... so he might know about it but can't be sure.
How will Dongjin know about that place? Could be possible if her friend has told him about it....?
Hahah even I was hoping that Mijung saved him from the truck. cz that will be a variable! Even if she is not in love with him but cared enough to save his life, I think Dongjin will be save from the curse! But somehow I feel that has not happened. I seriously can't fathom where has Dongjin disappeared to and why?? There's no viable reason for his disappearance unless he has actually died (which could not have happened as he didn't confess) or is hurt so much that he is hospitalized ðŸ˜
Anyways the rest of the points are more ridiculous that I won't even get into it. There's no use debating this with someone who is adamant to prove themselves as correct (The fact that u just ignored that your original examples didn't make sense at all)
