Ok I saw the twist coming from last week's preview so it wasn't such a surprise for me but its definitely very good. The foreshadowing has been there all along if people has actually paid attention instead of complaining its slow-paced!
But idk why they are trying to show that there are feelings between Eunsil and junghyeok(detectve) all of a sudden..? They barely even know each other. They've met like 3 times and barely spoke the first two time.
Its different than the main leads cz those 2 kept noticing, paying attention to each other in school and remember each other for so many years! There's no way a person remembers someone whom they never talked with for so many years unless they had feelings for them (not necessarily love) or had a strong impression of them.

Not dumb. Detective friend knew he was a witch or cursed just like Mijung did. They both isolated themselves bcz ppl around them kept getting hurt. The previous episodes hint to this alot. But only at the end of episode 9 he comes to know about the rules Dongjin found out. Which is why Eunsil says at the end to him "I know why Dongjin left the clues for you". Both Mijung and the detetive are trapped under this curse without knowing the specifics.

Exactly! All these dramas were in my mind when I wrote this 😂 + The Master's Sun, FL suffers bcz she sees ghosts but can't see them when she is with ML. Even tho its one of my fav drama, after watching witch I realize how obvious that storyline is lol! Didn't watch Destined with You tho..
Also DAYS gets special mention cz they both need each other to end their plight but after falling in love the angst of who should live lol. Its my absolute fav drama. I watch it so often whenever I'm bored 😅ðŸ˜
Fate was not on poor DongJin's side with this one. Its funny how the main leads find each other in all those dramas and here DongJin is fighting death.
In most dramas where the FL/ML is cursed/has some special power/sees ghosts/is a ghost/etc... their ML/FL counterpart is exempt from their curse/have the ability to end their suffering/only one who can see them or whatever... hence, they come together and fall in love.
There is nothing like that in this drama. That's the thing I love about it the most! The same rules apply to the ML as everyone else but the rules of the curse itself were unknown so the journey was to find those rules after he fell in love with her to find a solution to be with her.
This is the most unique story I've seen in a long time.
For people who don't like this drama, its such a loss for them. This drama made me fall in love with K-dramas…
I wish Mijung saves Dongjin by pushing him out of the way of that truck in the end but the lack of action from FL in this drama kinda makes me think that's highly improbable.

Its been a while since I've watched any drama on air cz I couldn't wait for it to get completed, rewatching episodes in between till the next episodes comes. Can't believe its ending next week 😠Lately I had find watching any k-drama monotonous. There is barely any excitement as there's almost nothing new nowadays. Last 'When the phone rings' had my attention like this but even that dipped in the later episodes. I agree the pacing is bit.. messy? I think the episodes could have been 50 mins long instead of an hour but otherwise the acting and story itself is so great and unique (+ OST!) that I don't mind that at all! Seriously its like I'm falling in love with K-dramas all over again!
I hope the people who were calling ML a stalker are happy now that he himself referred to himself as stalker. He knew what he was doing but he didn't have any other way to find out if she was a with or not! Honestly I think this is the only drama where I don't mind that the ML is stalking and is obsessed with the FL. Any other drama I find the creepy but Idk how Park Jinyoung is doing this but I kind of completely understand him..? He is such a great actor!

Well episode 5 and 6 also let us know that he didn't even know he liked her romantically. Its like he got intrigued with something so much he couldn't let it go until he found a solution but eventually fell in love while doing it.
Just finished episode 5. Don't tell me DongJin just realized that he likes Mijung after getting hurt by that tape lol. He can't be that dense right 😂 But it made me realize he never said he liked her in any of the previous episodes. In first episode he just said that her simplicity caught his attention, that's it. This is the slowest love realization ever, specially considering how much he has been doing for her.
I'm so mad about his effing 'statistics' because...it's biased! A couple of people already told him it's biased…
Bro he never made analysis in relation with Mijung at all in the first place. He did his analysis according to population and death rate. Which is why his professor told him his data was useless and biased cz Dongjin had already made the analysis believing that Mijung is not a witch (Episode 3) After which he did the research again and found that Mijung was the only common factor between the incidents (the whole scene where he verifies all the mistakes pointed by his professor one by one). Ig u didn't pay attention during the 'statistics' part.

😂😂😂 You are reading too much into it. Of course stalking is wrong but here the plot is making him stalk bcz if he approaches her he would die. The stalking is completely unnecessary IMO but ig the writers thought this would be the only way to show main leads together in a scene in these episodes.
Btw pick a struggle. You want him to meddle in her life or not? If he directly goes to her, that is meddling. He is solving a problem and whatever he is doing is not affecting the FL at all, so what's the problem.
I'm no gonna get into all those hypothetical situations cz u are comparing a fictional supernatural drama with real life lol. Enjoy while watching it. There drama/ movie that we can compare with real life. If it doesn't match your taste, move on :)

But he is not even meddling in her life. He is finding an answer for the issues surrounding her without even involving her in it. He didn't go to her and said let's do it together right? He is doing it on his own. After he finds something he plans to let her know about it but after that it'll be her decision right? If she still wants to continue to be unhappy, its her wish then. He isn't trying to force her or anything.
