Binge watching before the finale is really helping me keep my peace lol. Finally real romance is back in kdramas. They had two interesting moments for their kissing scenes which I really liked. But if it were a cdrama, they would have devoured the kiss scene....that’s maybe the only thing I like more about cdramas.

When I first saw Woo Sik in Fight for My Way, I never imagined he’d end up as a main character,let alone the lead in a romcom

It’s my first time seeing this male actor and he looks wayyy better than Yoon Yoo Seok even though he’s older.This is what happens when you’re paired with an actress your age. She doesn’t make you look like a harabeoji, she actually complements your looks

People don’t like politics in romcoms and that’s understandable. I’m just glad no one from the royal kitchen or the king’s team turned out to be negative.

I think it’s really stupid to say her rival only got famous because Sera wasn’t around. Not everyone can stay relevant in the entertainment industry for 25+ years, especially as a woman. People would have loved it if the roles were reversed and the FL was the one making her rival apologize, just like she did 25 years ago

Staying isolated for 220 years clearly messed them up. It’s not even just one person cheating on the other. Everyone is a three timer in that triangle

If you’ve seen their street interviews, they don’t consider cheating a big deal. They don’t even see going to a sex worker as cheating. Maybe that’s why even the main characters in their dramas are always cheating

The older version of the FL’s acting is really irritating. She’s pouty and talks in a childish way, even though 25 years ago she didn’t talk like that. I can’t tell if it’s a character choice or just the actress’s style. Honestly, I don’t see what a happy ending for this drama could even look like. Her rival became famous, worked for 25 years and is loved by the public. If the FL goes back into acting now, she’ll only get ajumma roles since she didn’t continue her career and the public will never see her the same as before

I’m a woman and I still couldn’t like it. It’s the only dropped drama on my list, so I keep checking it.
At first, I thought her leaving once was just for plot development, so I let it slide. But the more the flashbacks showed how close they were, the more I started liking Sang Yan and disliking the female lead. I felt bad for her but I just couldn’t like her and their love story felt like 100% effort from the male lead and 0% from her side.
Then I found out she would ghost him again and that’s when I had to drop it before my hate grew. I’m glad many people are saying the same thing now, because back then I felt like the odd one out and even got jumped by many here for saying that lol

It’s not harmless, because y'll swear there’s a gay undertone when they’re actually just platonic friends. I laughed at the “internalized homophobia” lol. Then do you have “internalized heterophobia” or what?

The only thing you guys say when people don’t want to see you obsessing is “homophobic" as if it’s some divine word. It would be homophobic if people went into gay dramas and left negative comments.Words like homophobic and antis*mitic have lost their meanings

I don’t mind teacher-student genre movies but you’re saying wokeness is trying to destroy Japanese culture? Their age of consent only became 16 in 2023.It was 13 until then. Is an old guy lawfully banging a 13 year old kid really their “culture”?

A female demon lead sounds too good to be true. I’m sure they’re not going to make her character as layered as male demon leads
