Their chemistry alone carried this show. With the storyline? It was a bonus. They acted so good OMG!
This was a full ride of emotions. They gave me butterflies and a lot of angst all in one that it was overwhelming really. I was rooting for them both to escape their problems and live a good life even if they wouldn't end up together. Wow, I have no other words but I loved it so much. So many raw emotions.
This just gave me a hangover.

I already liked the main characters off cam because my fyp is just full of them, fortunately and I thought I should continue to watch and so far, I haven't been disappointed. The story is moving in a good pace as well, not too fast and not too slow. And since I've already watched the first few minutes of ep 1 when it aired, I thought it would be cringe with the dynamic of a ‘sunshine’ cursed MC and ‘aloof’ master ML but so far, it's just so good and their natural chemistry is a bonus. They do not have to try hard in that.

And the storyline is actually good. We've seen a lot of BLs lately which fall too much on romance and other than that, there wouldn't be anything to stay for but this one is different. The storyline is worth staying for and I'm looking forward to the coming episodes.

(With the way I'm seeing their videos all over my feed, these two are quickly becoming my second favorite CP😭Namping has a beautiful eye smile, he just smiles with his eyes and become even more prettier.)

I wasn't able to get through episode 1 at first cause I found it confusing for me but I went back to watch it until ep 3, and right now I kept seeing clips of the other episodes and it's getting more and more interesting. I'll have to wait for it to finish airing so I can binge watch everything at once.

We've been saying : Give constructive criticism, just don't go around spreading hate. We know the weak points of the series and the team behind it and we always talk about it and acknowledge it, in a respectful manner. We don't go around calling the actors or the fans names to make our opinion valid.

Now it seems like we have a lot of preachers who are preaching about the same thing every day. You say you're not a fan but you keep camping under Desire comment section each and every day teaching us about opinions and criticism or how we'll forget the series tomorrow, what are you hoping to achieve? Why do you care that we love this show?

30 minutes in and I couldn't find a reason to continue. I've tried but there's no reason why I should torture myself like this.

You're not obliged to watch it. The many faults, I get. You feel bored? No one is forcing you to watch. But to yuk someone's yum is very low of you.

Even though the second CP has less screen time than the main couple, the novel + the series still included their story inside the main story so it's kind of make sense that they will be included in the promotional. And they were always promoted as the second couple and not the main, but they are treated the same probably because the sisters and the production do not want to show favourism (And I know that would cause a fight inside the fandom) But I'm very glad they're treated the same even during the promotional.

In straight Cdramas, the main couple and the second couple would usually promote the series too so I'm not exactly surprised. (Except that this is BL and their promotional is limited so they go with the flow.)

And the stills are usually released before the episodes airs then some after it airs. (But I agree that their marketing team need a lot of work since it seems like everything just drops out of nowhere with no timeline.) It can be overwhelming I must say since they do not seem organized.

Danmei readers have read a whole bunch of pairing I'm surprised people draw a line in a pair as simple as one in omegaverse. I've read a danmei where the MC fell in love with a system (that voice that guides you after transmigration) and that was ONE of the craziest thing I've seen.

They should just drop episode 11 and shock the whole fandom.😩

I've been hesitating to watch this because Silent Reading is one of my favorite danmei but I found myself watching through episode 2. I'll just continue because I love the actors already.

I think it's to make Shaoyou grow fear of losing him and that's why he goes crazy when Hua Yong leaves. With Shaoyou being an Alpha, even when he finds out that Hua Yong is an Enigma he would be in too deep for him to leave because he has grown emotionally attached.

Shaoyou didn't fall in love with Hua Yong as a survival mechanism against his manipulation or lies so it's different. His affection was built on his own terms even though he fell for Hua Yong's fake personality but even after he knew, Hua Yong never changed in front of Shaoyou. He treated him the same as he did if not more.
Omega or Enigma, he appeared the same in front of Shaoyou and remained the same person Shaoyou fell in love with. (minus the tears and acting weak)
