okay for the recruiting on purpose there were 2 scenes :
1. ep 1 and also 4 in the starting YG is seeing JY's resume on screen then switched to 36 questionnaire.
2. ep 4 where YG finally confessed and the story unfolds how he was also answering the questionnaire there was a scene where YG is talking to his professor that JY is an assistant researcher and wrote a same paper / thesis as YG so he asked professor what does he think about JY (for recruiting)

Okay Arthur Aron is a famous psychologist who made a set of 36 questions to bring people close and build up the chemistry by the time the last question is answered two people who are involved in this experiment take turns to answer the questionnaire .

The tutor was a bright topper student in his college who was researching on this famous 36 QUESTIONS BY ARTHUR ARON . When he met the student/bottom he was the perfect experiment sample for his experiment because when he met Jeong Yeon ( student) he was covered in bruises , had fights with people , rough , innocent teenager , unstable emotions who has a
room of improvement .
So Yu Geon (tutor) told JY's mother he would tutor him as :
1. He would change and reform him into a better person .
2. JY's the perfect sample for his research experiment so it would be more easier for him to record observations .

Initially YG (tutor) thought he would continue with his experiment , record his observations , reform him , tutor him , make a better guy and leave that was his original plan which he did followed ( I have a feeling he knew that JY might fall in love with him during this experiment when they were in their teacher student arc)
Even if YG saw that JY knows everything about the experiment still he didnt cared much but JY already fell in love with YG even if he kept on proposing he rejected him as he was in his high school yrs who has unstable emotional set up and a kid ofc .
7 years later
So JY also wrote a research paper on the same topic which caught YG's eyes , YG called the
head department to recruit him or maybe make him a intern for the experiments they are conducting for the dating app to be made . JY & YG met again ( now JY is emotionally stable as he is grown up now ) YG ran the tests again on JY this time to actually fall in love with YG he showed everyone how he is conducting experiments for the app and company but YG's friend caught him in the act that he is not sending the experiment results to the head department and just conducting this unofficially . He asked JY questions and later when he left he also answered the same questions later in his absence THE RULE OF 36 QUESTIONS BY ARTHUR ARON was that people take turns to answer .
YG AND JY took turns for the questionnaire YG knew everything but JY had no clue that YG was doing all this again to fall in love with him until the last question ends BUT THE TWIST IS THIS IS ALL YG THOUGHT THAT JY HAS NO CLUE BUT ONE DAY JY LOGGED INTO THE SYSTEM AND SAW YG IS ALSO ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS AND TAKING PART IN QUESTIONNAIRE SO JY knew that YG loves him already he was also waiting for YG to finally approach him in the end and confess it

This pace should have been maintained by hyun jun for yun jae if hyun jun would have thankfully rejecting him from day 1 itself like sunwook yunjae would'nt had to give sm time in this situation it's such a pity that yunjae got to know and officially got rejected when it was already 5th day it would have been better if yun jae was also clear about the situation like sumin that hyun jun likes sun wook and sunwook likes hyunjun
