(which if you had manners and responded like you were sincerely asking, like "What do you mean?" or something of the sort instead of making what most would take as a sarcastic rhetorical question) IS "I hate it because it is not enough, i hate it because it made me fall in love with the story and the characters, i hate it because it was too short and left so much possible story hanging. BUT in order to hate it for those reasons you also must love it. SO therefore i love it and would rate it a 10/10 BUT i also HATE IT because right as it got really good and it should have AT LEAST had an extra 20 minutes of story they cut it off and it ended so therefore I cannot give it a full 10/10 so it gets a 9/10." Next time try talking to someone like they are a human and deserve the same basic respect as anyone and with a bit of sincerity and you will learn life not only gets WAY easier that way but also you make more friends that way and offend WAY LESS people. You will also find you run into less arguments with people when you treat them as humans and with sincerity. right, I NEED man MANY more hours of this... but seriously I am getting irritated that japan and korea have dialed back their normal BL shows (as in the amount they usually produce a year) and instead have like quadrupled the amount of "shorts"... like I want the good shows like why did Peach Trap get a full script but not this :"(. like what are they thinking putting more into the shorts than the full length shows this last year, and looking like this year will be the same. no, again you are gaslighting and saying i said things i did not say, they shouldn't rate it at all, because it comes as a biased rating. that is like asking a racist white person which black is better. this is why you don't have the same film critic doing ratings on dramas and rom coms as the film critic doing action movies. this is like asking the guy who "only likes action movies" to rate The Notebook, it is always going to be a shit rating no matter how good the movie is. this is like asking a super religious person to rate a movie about strippers, even if a good movie they will not give a good rating. this is like asking a straight homophobic man to rate a gay movie, all these situation are ridiculous and completely TAINT a rating system. Also gives you no real information as where if someone who DOES normally like that subject says this is not a good one, then that is a good review that is trustworthy and an accurate rating. if you USUALLY dont like that subject but in one instance do, then yes give a good rating saying "usually dont like but i did this one" but if you dont like it then sure express your opinion but dont rate it. open for everyone does not mean not made for specific people. i feel you linger is my FAVORITE, it left me broken for like 4-5 weeks. seriously hahaha and to sir with love as well. and i think they were talking about how maybe he was acting a little like a lady boy in 1912 but i dont think they understood the reason he changed and was more manly in 194_ was because of how he was killed and humiliated and hair cute etc. it was not him acting weird but truly playing one person two slightly different ways. also from before hen was an asshole kind og in the sign so i think it just threw people. but i like it all. and i loved century love as well. even my mom liked it hahahhaa

i agree completely. finished it last night. many plots left unanswered and rushed ending since they spent like 7 episodes going into one single year of the past life when there was a three year span that needed to be covered. but over all or up to episode 10-11 was still GREAT. really just needed 10 more episodes and could have been perfect. and is it slower paced, yes. but that is MOST historical dramas, period dramas. and some of us REALLY like period/historical dramas and have been begging for them. but the people who don't well so what, they need to get over themselves and realize they are not the only people in the world and that their opinion doesn't override everyone else's, they are not superior and they do not speak for everyone.

if you don't know then you are not part of it or are just to stupid too understand either basic thoughts and/or that there are other people out there besides yourself that have different likes than yourself. but keep showing your narcissism or lack of intelligence whichever it is, or both.

that makes me very happy to hear. and i use IQIYI and Gagaoohlala as paid services. But for ones that are not available on those platforms or even YouTube i have to watch on a free site i found. I prefer to watch them on the paid sites so i am helping support a little at least, but sadly it is not possible with all of them here in the US. there are also some services that i guess believe americans are SOOOO rich that they can afford some RIDICULOUS site pricings that i just cannot afford. like Reuten (i might have misspelled that) but here in america it's pricing is ridiculously high, it is $25 for just a basic membership and then over half the shows you have to pay extra for each show to unlock the show or the second half of the show meanwhile in other areas it is MUCH more affordable. I do actually understand wanting to get a little more money from america and increasing the price a little, that would not be a problem but the price is increased A LOT. and then some are just not available here at all even when they have an english translation so especially with those i still have to use my free site, but it does also have issues, it often goes down and it mostly only has shows at 480P and only VERY VERY RARELY has a show at 720P. but i am willing to deal with those drawbacks because even with those the dramas still make my life better. especially to watch things that still have morals unlike most american TV nowadays that is just all sex and drugs and murder and crime. and not like in the past when the crime or murder was a villain and they would get caught in the end, but now here it is often a villain made to seem like a good person or someone you should idolize even though you definitely shouldnt

i am sure i will end up watching some just like i did this one, i just watch ones at random that sound good. although personally i dont feel it was that low budget compared to many others i have watched that have gotten sequels. But i guess only time will tell. mostly i just feel bad for the doctor not getting his happy ending. but the character development of taking a character and making you hate them at first to feeling sorry for them and then loving the character by the end like with the doctor was masterful. and i am also partial to BL and Bromance honestly hahahahaha. but i do still like a good straight drama sometimes. (mostly when i am out of BLs and bromance) also i think shows like this are better at turning off your mind. if i am watching a show that i can guess everything about i only have to halfway pay attention, so the outside world is not blocked me. In other words i still think of other things while watching, i am not engrossed or lost in the story. Meanwhile ones like this completely tune out the outside world and allow a person to truly get lost in the show and turn their mind off from the things stressing them out. or at least in my opinion. but i guess that comes from also having a simple understanding that a bunch of people seem to not have which is "there is no need to ask questions about a show or movie because the WHOLE POINT of the show or movie is to frame those questions to the viewer and then ANSWER THEM, so if you just relax and keep watching everything will be revealed by the end." (it drives me crazy watching something with someone and they keep asking why this and why that and it is like "i have watched just as much as you, i don't know anymore than you do, so how about just watch it and find out, then we will both know") hahhahaha and it has been nice talking to you by the way thank you for the nice conversation. i feel they are harder and harder to come by on the internet with every year that passes. so i just like to acknowledge it when it happens :D

But thank you for replying because i don't understand a lot of the Asian rating system or the way they do things or the 1000 pages you have to follow to find this information. Truly because i am just too lazy to research and learn those things and prefer to spend that time watching a new drama instead HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH (i know, i am terrible, and addicted to Asian dramas)

i honestly think that is due to it being truly a GOOD show that keeps you guessing and confused most of the entire show. and sadly most people nowadays are getting less and less intelligent so when they watch something as high level thinking as this kind of show they get confused, not understanding that THAT IS THE POINT and the BEST thing about a GOOD and ORIGINAL show/premise and they just drop it early on before they understand everything. Before they get to that one episode that makes EVERYTHING click and blow your mind and go "OOOOHHHH NOW it all makes sense" but those ARE the BEST shows. And are SOOOOOOOOO EXTREMELY RARE nowadays.

i HAVE to say this IF YOU DON'T LIKE PERIOD DRAMAS THEN DON'T WATCH THEM!!!! Stop complaining about them and trashing them just because they are period dramas, you may not like them BUT A BUNCH OF US DO. We don't come and trash talk on your favorites that are always just some playboy who f**ks anything that moves and then "falls in love" with the first person to ever deny him that are CONSTANTLY done, or the rich boy who is super spoiled and the poor one who shows him what value really means that are CONSTANTLY done to the point of you can guess the ENTIRE show 20 minutes into the first episode. i am SO TIRED of seeing comments that start off with "i hate period dramas but i thought i would give this one a try and it is terrible." well DUH if you don't like something you probably wont, that is a preference and just because you were stupid enough to try watching something you already don't like does not mean you should then trash on it and give it a terrible rating. ratings should TECHNICALLY be for people who "should" or are "most likely" to like that show so others of similar thinking will know whether they will like it or not too. but if you come expecting to not like it already then chances are you wont, and by giving something you already knew you wouldn't like a terrible rating is just idiotic because it OBVIOUSLY was NOT MADE FOR YOU.

i understand others seeing it as gross due to their own lack of knowledge of the facts and their own warped opinions. But lets be honest that is the same kind of mindset people had 100 years ago about interracial marriage. and considering in korea it is still legal to marry a cousin and people still do, the issue is not actually that they are cousins it is because they are gay they are just using that as their reason as where if it was a guy and girl it would not be such an issue, many less people would have an issue with it instead of a bunch like in this situation. In reality i mean. of course this is all just a made up story in a made up world but that does not stop a comparison of reality. i appreciate the actual participation in a conversation without positive or negative feelings but just a comparison of thoughts, it is rare to find someone like you nowadays sadly so i just wanted to take the moment to acknowledge it. and in my personal life it is somewhat similar without the cousin part. my husband is constantly bashed by his family for being with a white person and even worse an american but in reality it is because they are religious and run a church and dislike gays, but they can not openly say that because their church SUPPOSEDLY accepts gays and have gays in their congregation. but when they automatically assumed i was a female it was all "You are going to raise in class, you will be able to make us all proud, you have an advantage in life now, you have the chance to help pull the whole family up and elevate us all. Mom will be able to retire and maybe some of us can come to america especially mom to finally live an easy life" and they LOVED that i was a white american, UNTIL they found out i was a guy as well and then it was all "He's using you just like all americans do. he doesn't love you. he will use you until there is nothing left and throw you away like garbage, you are only with him because you are a gold digger and instead of working hard for money and success you would rather sell yourself. you should love your own heritage and people. why can't you love someone from your own race." etc etc etc. And they never once consider why he loves me so much is because cherish him and give him unconditional love for who he is and not what anyone wants him to be, i support him and would do anything for him. but the reasons they do not think about those things is because that is not their REAL issue at all. their real issue is him being gay and they just do not want to actually say it because even THEY KNOW it would just make them look bad and SUPER hypocritical.
