Yes! Her tying the blade to the staff made it resemble a naginata, which was famously wielded by female warriors. It's very suitable for their builds. These are also versatile and fast due to being light and ranged.

Changning looks so tiny next to ZLH while hiding, so cute. He looked gorgeous fighting in ep7, the choreography was very well done but I'm sad he's back to relying on the stick again after just starting to walk normally the previous episode😩

I'm not surprised, she has been finding out things from little observations. Like how a little tweak changes his name to xie zheng, that he's probably someone good at fighting, someone who got injured in combat and doesn't judge him for hiding it. The pieces are only increasing with time, shouldn't be that hard to figure out eventually.

Couldn't resist commenting considering how beautiful the cinematography and directing was. The quality remained consistent throughout all 5 episodes from music, visuals, acting, natural humor as well as pacing. Great start, definitely anticipating more.
