I've been rewatching shorts of the Ep 6 highlights partly because of the moments themselves (I can't get over Park Eun-bin's puzzled expression in the medium shot after the scooter incident where she's processing what just happened) but also for the comments from other people who felt the same way.
And the editing is sublime in the last scene with the setup/misdirection and then all the reaction shots. So good. :)
My personal feeling is that a lot of 16 and 12 episode shows would probably be better at 14 episodes. A little less bloat for a longer show and a little more depth for a shorter one.
But I agree with the comment below that the story should ideally dictate the length. Mercy for None was great at 7 episodes, while It's Okay to Not Be Okay was perfect at 16.
