while I can understand people's hesitance about the ending, my biggest problem with this show is how easily he forgave his father. Other than that I love this show 10/10

I feel it's because Pai wants to give up his estate, and he trusts Tim so much. Tim is the first person Pai felt he could trust and rely on, so I understand him just wanting to let his guard down

I don't think it's revenge. I think Tim is just the kind of guy to reach for the stars

To be honest, I see North's character as a sort of juxtaposition with Pai. I think in showing two cousins who got handed very different, yet quite bad sides of the coin, we are made to realise no one is perfect. North is a perfectly sheltered, untrained baby who gets everything he wants except genuine connection. To most people, and to someone like Pai's character, it might seem he is handed everything and should therefore be happy, but he's not. Pai on the other hand, is a parentified older cousin who has the weight of the family on his shoulder. I'm pretty sure he never got to be a kid as he was always The Heir. This put so much pressure on him, and it doesn't help that he is expected to take care of his cousin. I just love how this show is showing us both sides of a coin
