Posting this for everyone to see, I might repost it when this gets buried, but I have to say this
LOVE YOU TEACHER IS NOT A KINK DRAMA OR A FETISH DRAMA. IT DOESN'T; - SEXUALISE CHILDREN/REGRESSED VERSION OF ADULTS - KINKIFY MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS - IMPLY A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN A FULLY FUNCTIONING ADULT AND REGRESSED VERSION OF AN ADULT (ESSENTIALLY A CHILD IN AN ADULT BODY) OR LASTLY -- DEPICT A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MAIN LEADS. BOTH LEADS ARE FULLY GROWN, SIMILAR AGED TEACHERS
Now to get into what this show DOES do; - It sheds light on mental illnesses/conditions such as age regression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Partum Disorder (PPD), or just the plain truth of what it means to be a caregiver for someone you love even through situations you hate. - It makes you laugh every episode - It makes you cry just as often. I full on sobbed on episode 9.
Please keep in mind that this is not a medical drama, or hyperrealistic like Last Twilight. Don't get me wrong, it's very real, but it provides a more colourful aesthetic and story telling techniques that more accurate reflect reality instead of mirror it one to one. Please don't spread hate and misinformation.
I'm really unsure about this one... watched 1 ep so far, but something just feels really weird with someone pretending…
Umm... Pretending? There is no pretense. Solar/Sun is truly sick and truly regresses. These are real mental conditions that affect real life people and doesn't care about kinks or sexualising kids in the slightest.
I'm going to reiterate this, but Pobmek and Solar explicitly set BOUNDARIES about what they can and cannot do sexually until Sun is gone so things don't get weird. Also, Pobmek makes it clear he is Sun's uncle/parental figure and never views Sun sexually in the slightest.
Look, I understand your reservations, but some of these stories need to get told. Not telling them because it could be considered "kinky" or "sexual" low-key promotes ableism as it says "your mental condition is too weird/kinky to be talked about", there by glossing over the real stuff a large part of the population has to go through.
This tv show is magical :D <3 They were promoting magic and thats what we got <3I waited so long and I looooove…
Yh, I'd like for it to be a recurrent series, or at least have multiple seasons like enigma or the gifted. However, I feel the story of this was written for one season, so I think an only friends situation with seasonal main character switch ups, maybe with Niran and Pete as recurring characters. Wu knows, we could have a lgbt+ character main lead one season, another season is romance driven(queer or straight), another one could literally take place in another country. The recurring themes could be some interconnected characters and the fact that it always has a main lead that's a Wu.
If people aren't biased and Gmmtv is ready to sink in this amount of money regularly, maybe every 2-3 years, I'd love that
I don't think it was a book, P'Aof said that he made it up from his own imagination and was inspired to write…
The reply above this summed up what I was trying to say. Gmmtv launched events where they released novel adaptations of their upcoming original series, including ticket to heaven, a dog and a plane, and Wu the series, etc
I don't know if you meant it, but your reply sounded aggressive?, harsh?, rude?. I'm not sure. But I'll take it as you weren't trying to come off that way and I just misinterpreted it. Anyways I was just suggesting it so you'd get the feel of what the story would look like.
It's fine if you don't wanna read the book though. I completely understand wanting to get immersed from the film's perspective. This is actually the only Thai production which I read the novel of before watching
yeah, it's their third series queer-baiting. First series, that's fine. But 3?
This doubling down just proves you didn't fact check. Their only released show together is High School Frenemies. Wu is the second ever show they play together. In Muteluv, it was an anthology, and they played in different sections - Nani's character even got a girlfriend. Their stories didn't overlap beyond being in the same anthology. The other shows they would play in together are unreleased; There's arrest and action, as well as High and low. Now that I've provided accurate information, please verify and prove me right 😁

still at the restaurant
It can be temporary or permanent, but who do you think has a high chance of shorter years
